Pain had greeted her head as she was slowly regaining consciousness. The Japanese exorcist felt out of balance, as if she was just spinning for hours. She felt extremely weak and nauseated. Dark eyes slowly opened, seeing the ground she was laying on. It was a wooden floor with broken pieces of glass and other things that were destroyed during the process of trying to rid of a ghost. A sigh escaped her lips, just wanting the pain to stop.

The sound of moving machinery made her tilt her head. It was her partner struggling to move a machine. The metal door was banging loudly, a powerful ghost trying to make it's way in. Normally ghosts can walk through things but that's when the injured exorcist saw multiple seals plastered all over the walls. It prevented the ghost from entering.

Once her partner quickly barricaded the door, she rushed to her wounded partner. "Momo, stay with me!" Her partner pleaded.

"Dahyun...what happened?" Momo groaned. A hand went to touch her face but Dahyun swatted her hand away. Her partner then sat up quickly. Pulling out a handkerchief, she used it to press against the small cut Momo had on her left eyebrow. "Do you seriously not remember?" Dahyun asked desperately, a hint of panic on her voice.

The loud banging on the door made Dahyun turn back. "The seals won't hold on much longer...." She cursed under her breath. She quickly looked at Momo to check for any more injuries. Her eyes then started to scan her surroundings in search of an escape route.

Momo slowly sat up with a groan. Her hand began to rub the back of her head. There was a burning headache that continued to make her feel nauseous. She carefully took the handkerchief from Dahyun and saw the small amount of blood coming out. She pressed it against the wound herself as Dahyun quickly stood up. Her eyes widened to see the seals slowly on the verge of losing their energy.

A rush of memories hit the exorcist. Momo shut her eyes, the memories of today up until now came to her. She began to scold herself under her head for being so stupid. They were in this situation because of their recklessness. Now they were paying the price with their lives.

"Dahyun…" Dahyun immediately took her partners hand and helped her get on her feet.

The Japanese girl looked around and then spotted her sword on the ground. She quickly picked it up and then shoved the handkerchief in her pocket in order to hold the weapon with two hands. She stood in front of the door, ready to attack. "Dahyun, step back!"

There was nowhere to hide, that's why she had no other but choice to step back. They were currently in a construction site of a shopping mall that was supposed to open in a few months. The areas that were built contained nothing but tools and other equipment.

Dahyun took out her phone and entered their job application. The gathered information on the ghost appeared on her screen. She scrolled past the high difficult level of the ghost and then saw a bunch of options listed for her if she couldn't complete the job.

Her eyes fixed onto a red button.

"...call of help?" Dahyun muttered to herself. The door began to pound violently as the ghost on the other side wasn't giving up.

A request of help will be sent to the nearest exorcist.

Dahyun looked up to her partner. "Dahyun!" Momo called her. Her partner went to her side next to the door. "I'm going to open this door," Momo shouted through the yells of the angered ghost. "You need to run out, okay? On the count of three–" Dahyun's panicked eyes met Momo's desperate ones.

"Three…"

"Two…"

"One!" The seals severed, Momo kicked the machine away from the door. The door immediately flew past them along with a rather pissed off ghost. "Run!" Dahyun sprinted out, adrenaline kicking in. She turned slightly and saw Momo charging towards the ghost.
