"Do you need anything?"
"Do you want me to massage your shoulders?"
"Do you want me to call anyone?"
Prime glared at Ben, who was pacing nervously around the room, bombarding her with questions. Despite the pain coursing through her, she managed to grab his hand and pull him closer.
"Ben, love?" she asked, her voice surprisingly calm.
Ben stopped pacing and smiled at her, hopeful. "Yes, sweetheart?"
Her grip on his hand tightened as she locked eyes with him, her gaze sharp enough to cut through steel. "Shut up," she growled. "Because right now, it feels like needles are stabbing the inside of my stomach, and I don't need you to keep talking."
From the corner of the room, Klaus burst out laughing, lounging in a chair like he didn't have a care in the world. Ben pouted and plopped down in the chair next to him, looking dejected.
"I love you, Benny," Prime added sweetly, before crying out in pain as another contraction hit her.
Ben turned to Klaus, whispering desperately, "I should just calm down, right?"
Klaus smirked, giving him a knowing look. "Yes, but don't worry—Primey doesn't mean anything she's saying right now."
"I will if you two don't shut up!" Prime shouted, her voice laced with irritation as the intensity of the contraction peaked.
Both Ben and Klaus immediately clamped their hands over their mouths, their wide-eyed expressions so identical it made Prime laugh despite herself.
Even through the pain, she couldn't help but find some humour in their reaction. She made a mental note to apologize to them later for anything harsh that might come out of her mouth during labour. But for now, she was content watching them try to stay out of her wrath, their silent attempts at support somehow both endearing and hilarious.

Ben cradled their newborn son gently in his arms, his voice soft as he looked down at the tiny face. "Hey there, little guy," he whispered with a smile. "You gave Mommy a tough time, but you're finally here."
Prime, still exhausted but glowing with happiness, chuckled weakly. "Yeah, and Daddy was such a trooper. I think I almost broke his hand," she mumbled, watching as their son grasped her finger and let out a small giggle.
Klaus, wiping his eyes with a tissue, grinned from the side. "He's such an angel. Congrats, Primey!"
Dave leaned over, giving a soft chuckle and kissing Klaus on the cheek. "Congratulations to you both," he said, beaming at Prime and Ben.
Prime smiled at them warmly, her eyes tired but filled with love. "Thank you. Do you both want to hold your godson?" she asked.
Klaus and Dave nodded eagerly, but Ben frowned, reluctant to part with their son. Everyone burst into laughter at his protective expression.
