An epilogue, of some sorts

After that, the Olympians went back to Olympus, relieved, yet a bit upset for having to leave their kids. Again. Zeus and Thalia were finally getting a long. Meanwhile Nico and Hades hardly spoke a word to each other, not like Hades expected him to. Artemis and Apollo were closer than ever, and Artemis and Aphrodite managed to start a friendship. It wasn't the best (Considering Aphrodite was finding a new love interest for Artemis), however it was better than expected. Athena and Poseidon flirted sometimes, yet they knew their limits. Although...sometimes, just sometimes they'd do more than that. Maybe one day they'd fight for each other. But for now, they were perfectly happy with an affair.

Hermes and Ariana had a little chat. It didn't go so well.

"This is all your fault, you know that?" Ariana forced back tears, at the news that her only child was dead.

"Me? You're blaming me for something I couldn't even control! She wasn't even attacked by a monster, she got shot by a mortal!" Hermes cried in frustration.

"You're a god! Can't you see the future? Get visions?"

"I'm a god, not freaking Apollo!" Hermes retorted. "And besides, maybe if you weren't so busy, doing gods know what! Maybe you could've participated in her life more, instead of crying about lost time when she's dead!"

"I've been busy! There's money to take care of you know!" Ariana defended herself, folding her arms across her chest.

"You couldn't have taken her a long with you? You know, that's what my kids like to do. Instead you shut her in that great mansion of yours." Hermes countered.

"I spent more time with her than you ever did." Ariana pointed out. That really stung Hermes, but he wasn't going to show her that her puny mortal words had any affect on him.

"Actually," Hermes gave a soft chuckle. "I think I spent more time with her in these few months, than you have in her lifetime."

Ariana's jaw dropped open, and with that Hermes went back to Olympus.

Clary, Thalia, Percy, Nico, and Annabeth all went to Camp that summer, as usual. Clary and Thalia trained side by side, and decorated the huge statue of 'Hippie Zeus' in their cabin. These decorations included stick-on moustaches, sunglasses, a bright pink coloured wig, sparkles, and a skirt. They never imagined Zeus would ever see it. Oh how wrong they were. On Clary's birthday, which is on July 2nd by the way, Zeus decided to pay Cabin 1 a little visit.

He flashed in the cabin, while Thalia was in the bathroom, and Clary was reading a book. Clary put down her book in shock, while all Zeus could do was stare at his statue, completely decorated.

"What on Olympus..." Zeus muttered.

"Dad! We were uh-" Clary struggled to form words.

"Decorating my statue?" Zeus raised an eyebrow.

"It's more...attractive this way...?" Clary tried. "Look its just that, that statue just stares at us and...it's kinda scary, it's almost like it's watching us."

"Well, how else do you think I watch my kids?" Zeus rolled his eyes.

"Wha- really?"

"I knew something was wrong when my vision when looking through the statue was...shady." Zeus muttered.

"I'm really sorry, we'll take it off." Clary, said, getting off her bed.

"Nonsense, keep it this way." Zeus insisted. "I don't want you two to be scared. I would've done the same thing."

"Oh..uh, okay. So why did you come here anyways?" Clary asked.

"Too wish you a happy seventeen birthday."

"Oh, thanks." Clary smiled.

"I made you something." Zeus smiled back.

He handed her a tinfoil lightning bolt.

"Uh...wow!" Clary tried to act impressed.

"It's true art, I know." Zeus nodded at his work.

"Yeah...totally, thanks dad."

"Any time."

Zeus was about to leave, but before he did, he said one last thing which confused Clary a bit.

"By the way, on the 14th of December, you might want to take that costume off." He said, gesturing towards the statue.

"Why?" Clary asked.

"I'm sending Thalia an early birthday present, and I don't think he'd want to walk in and see that first thing." Zeus smiled, and flashed back to Olympus.
