When Bucky and Lily finally got back home, the sun was already setting. Lily felt that Bucky's mood had been lifted gradually. Even though his face was still flat, Lily could figure out that he was feeling better.

After making sure that the doors were locked and all of the curtains were closed, Lily told Medusa to turn on the lights and walked into her work room, followed by Bucky. "So, what did you think of our trip to Smithsonian today?" Lily sat on the chair in front of the monitor and started the conversation while waiting for her PC to turn on.

Bucky sat on another chair near Lily and took off his trucker cap. He sighed softly before answering, "I still can't really believe what was written there."

"But if they weren't true, they wouldn't put in on a museum, right?" Lily said cheerfully. "I'm going to get more information about you from the Internet."

"The Internet?"

Lily finally assumed that something must've happened many years back, because it shouldn't be possible for a man who was born at 1916 to still be perfectly healthy and physically young around 100 years after he was born. Maybe it's the same case with Captain America, since they were buddies back in the day, but I don't really know what happened with Captain America either... Lily thought to herself. She had this crazy theory that Bucky was somehow frozen for many years—little did she know that she was right.

"I forgot that you're supposed to be like a hundred years old. The Internet is like this enormous, imaginary place with all kinds of information stuffed there. You can find anything you need, communicate with other people, etc... It's like a server for telephones back then, but now it's not only for telephones... and it's much more developed and convenient." Lily explained. That wasn't a very good explanation, but it was all she could think of.

"Will they find us through there?" Bucky asked after a few seconds of silence.

"Who are you talking about?" The girl asked in confusion. "S.H.I.E.L.D.? Captain America? Who?"

Bucky shivered just by thinking of the word. "Hydra," he continued, "They can't find me. I don't want them to find me."

Lily didn't know what "Hydra" was, but she sensed a hint of fear and panic in Bucky's voice. "Okay, don't worry. I should be able to configure stuff so anyone won't find us here." She tried to calm Bucky down.

After messing around with the proxy and her self-made firewall, she opened the browser and typed in the words: "James Buchanan Barnes". Bucky shifted his chair closer so he could read what's on the screen while the girl scrolled through various articles. Most of the articles stated what they already knew from the Smithsonian, but Bucky read the words thoroughly, as if he was trying to assure himself. "Captain America" was mentioned a lot in those articles, alongside with his own name. He kept reading article by article meticulously, and his head hurt more the further he goes.

He had no memories of his childhood, his school years, or his service in military. They said he was trained on Wisconsin (he didn't even remember where Wisconsin was) and then sent to Italy, where he was captured as a prisoner along with the others. The situation remained that way for some time until Captain America rescued them, and formed a new team to go for difficult missions. It was when Bucky was declared dead after he fell from a moving train in one of their missions and Captain America's incapability to rescue him.

He was declared dead? But how could he be dead? He's right here, right now, in Lily Walsh's house. There was no further information after the incident. How could he be here right now? What's Hydra's connection to all of this?

All of a sudden, fragments of his memories came back to his mind simultaneously. They were sharp and it made his head ache so much. His brain replayed a scene where he was falling down, so far down. Captain America was there. He was screaming so much. He cried and uselessly extended his hand and called for Bucky's name. He couldn't stop screaming—and then everything went black.
