More Than This : Chapter 10 : You've got that one thing

Here it is, I looked at Ariana observing every single about her. She really looked beautiful tonight, no doubt. Since I was busy looking at her face in the dimlight, I didn't get to notice that she was inviting me to sit with her on the couch.

"I'm sorry -- uhm, okay." I said

"So, hi Niall! Long time no see." Ariana said.

"Uh, yeah -- " I pause for a while and thought of bringing the poll up. "So, how's the poll?" I asked her.

"Well, It's going pretty fine -- wait, you know about the poll?" she said, surprised.

"Yeah, I've been informed" I replied.

"By who?" she asked, with her eyebrows twitching.

"Zayn -- he saw it in the internet" I explained.

She nodded twice and asked, "So, is it okay to you or the other guys if any of you were picked?"

"Yes, definitely! It would be really nice to work with you." I immediately replied.

"That's nice." Once she's finished talking, her eyes roamed around the room. Talk Niall! She's getting bored! Think!

Suddenly, One Thing played through the speakers which made the guys and the cast members go to the dance floor.

"Uhm, Ariana would you like to dance?" I asked her.

"Sure!" she replied, so I took her hand and led her to the dance floor. 

Once we were on the dance floor, the lyrics were:

While we were dancing I looked at Ariana that she was having lots of fun. She was smiling and was even singing along. How I've missed her voice. The last time and the first time I heard her voice live was when she came at our party when we were promoting our album here in the U.S. and as always, her voice was amazing and I couldn't stop listening to her. Once I've noticed that my solo was approaching, I figured out to sing to her, she might have a hint on what I'm feeling about her.

Now I'm climbing the walls ---

As I started singing out to her, I took her hand to get her attention, she then looked at me, surprised. I smiled and continued singing.

But you don't notice at all 

That I'm going out of my mind 

All day and all night 

After I finished, it looks like she enjoyed it, she took my other hand and continually sang to the song. I was kind of surprised on what she did, but I've got to admit that I was really enjoying it. It turned out to be a karaoke slash dance bonding. It actually wasn't what I've wanted to happen, but since I see that she was happy and enjoying it, I've figured out to enjoy the moment.

I was already enjoying the moment when all of a sudden, the lad that Ariana introduced me to earlier approached us.

"Hey, can I dance with Ari?" he asked.

"Avan" Ariana said, looking at him, then shifted her eyes to mine. "Is it okay Niall?" she asked me.

"Sure" I said, smiling faintly. I wasn't actually happy by the thought of giving Ariana to him, but since she knew him much more than I did, It wouldn't be a great start if I would act like an arse with this lad, so I let go of Ari's hand and walked towards Zayn and the others.

"Niall, nice going lad!" I told Niall.

"Stop there Louis, I think he's pissed" Zayn said.

"Why? She's been able to dance with her!" I said, reasoning out to them.

"Look who's she's dancing with" Zayn said, pointing to a boy dancing with Ariana.

"Okay, well it's just a boy." I told them.

"Let me explain, the boy were talking about was rumoured to be dating Ariana Grande. Get the point now?" Zayn said.

"Okay, but it's just rumours. It doesn't actually mean that they're actually dating." I explained, patting Niall's shoulder.

"I guess so, but it kind of looks like they are really close with each other -- and I'm kind of getting jealous -- I know that were haven't spent that much time together, but she's just different." Niall said.

"Okay now, I get you and to take off that stress, let's go to the snack counter and get a drink or a snack." I told him.

"Sure, I'll go visit the loo first" Niall said.

"Sure, we'll be at the counter" I said.
