It had been a week since Dakota and I had graffited Christian's car. He raged for days and said he was going to get revenge, but after hearing it for a week I got a little less scared.
Being the fact that it had been almost two weeks since Dakota and Dean's fight, tensions had died down a little. But that didn't stop Dakota from puffing up and curling his arm around me whenever Dean walked past. It was basically like two dogs trying to mark their territory and just peeing everywhere.

I was currently in my newest fourth block class (without Dakota), listening to my Biology teacher drone on and on about mitochondria. That word was seared into my brain.
The block was like torture, because Mr. Port, an elderly man who loved hearing his own voice assigned a pile of homework. So when the bell rang I wasn't the only one who ran out the door.
The start of a headache throbbed behind my eyes, and I wanted to bash my head against the wall as I walked down stairs. A whole day of new classes and new people always wore me out. "Kit!" Kyah jogged up to me. "Hey." I slowed my pace a little so she could catch up. "What's up?" Kyah looked concerned as her eyes raked over me. "Nothing. Biology just sucks." I shrugged as I stopped at my locker. "Ah. Mr. Port?" She laughed when I nodded.
A pair of arms wrapped around my waist as I grabbed my jacket. "Hey, Kitty." Dakota hummed in my ear. I shut and locked my locker before turning around, and received a kiss from my boyfriend.
"Do you want to hang out tonight? I haven't taken you on a date in a while." Dakota butted our heads together, and I whined. "Kota my head hurts." His face clouded in concern and his forehead got those little worry wrinkles.
"I'm so sorry, baby." Dakota's voice dropped an octave, and the nick name made a familiar warm feeling curl in my stomach. We almost never used nicknames like baby or babe, and I almost always smiled when he said them. "It's alright. I just want to lay down, if thats alright." I told him and he nodded. "Of course. Come on, let's get you home." He grabbed my bag and hefted it onto his shoulder.
Dakota kissed my temple one more time before be took my hand and lead me to his car. "Christian can give Kyah a ride home." Dakota mumbled, and he opened my door for me.
The drive home was relatively quiet, except for the one occasion of him yelling profanities out of the window when someone was tailgating him. When we got to my house, Dakota took me inside and made me sit on the couch. "Stay there." He told me, and I giggled. He walked around my house doing who knows what, and I closed my eyes. After a while of my headache gradually increasing, a hand squeezed my shoulder and I opened my eyes.
A whole load of my spare blankets was spread out on the carpet, and several of my plush pillows set up. "Kota?" "Sh, take these." He handed me two Advils and a cold glass of water. I looked up at him with a smile, and quickly took the pills. "C'mon. Get down here with me." Dakota turned off the lights and plopped down on the makeshift bed.
I slid down next to him and he immediately started to manhandle me into little spoon. "What if I want to look at you?" I asked quietly, and he groaned. "I just can't please you, can I?" He teased, and I rolled over.
"Did you know that kissing helps headaches?" He twirled a lock of my hair around his finger. "That's sex." I raised an eyebrow. "Ah, well, it's worth a shot." His evil smirk was the only warning I got when he shot forward and rolled on top of me and started to kiss at my neck. I laughed and smacked at his head to get his attention. He looked at me with a smile and hair falling in his eyes, like I was a freaking birthday present.
"If you're going to make out with me, do it with my lips, not my neck, asshole." I smirked, and he leaned down and kissed me so hard I forgot my name.
This was a long time coming. It's just some domestic fluff for Mary to tide her over so I can try to work out the next chapter. That little bit about Dean was indeed necessary, because we aren't done with him yet!!!
