(A/N massive thanks to Mary. It's slightly longer.)

Dakota hadn't spoken to me all day, and it was obvious from the boys that I wasn't welcome to sit at the lunch table. I could hear Kyah and Tori bitching about something from across the lunch room.

I was walking past the vending machines when Victoria grabbed my arm roughly. She said something extremely fast, something I couldn't understand before dragging me outside.

"Victoria! What the hell?!" I had no choice as she yanked me to a circle of teens, and throwing elbows to get us in the inner circle. "Dakota and Dean are fighting!" She snapped, and I gaped at the scene in front of me.

Dakota had Dean on the pavement; punching him hard. I had never seen Dakota so angry, his usually soft, bright smile was turned into malicious grin.

There was a loud grunt as Dean managed to kick Dakota off of him, and stood up quickly, and threw a punch at Dakota's face.

Dakota groaned and held his face, and then Dean grabbed his head and kneed him in the face.

Dakota yanked himself out of Deans grip, and threw an elbow that landed on the side of Deans head, knocking him to the ground.

I was violently shoved aside, and apparently others were too as someone toppled on top of me. Security guards had the two boys pinned to the hard concrete, and I saw the blood smearing all over my boyfriends face.

"Everyone go!" Another security guard yelled, and I watched as the man who held Dakota roughly hauled him up.

The two had certainly done a number on each other, blood dripping from their faces and torn shirts. The boys were taken to the office, and the crowd dispersed, whispers of who won and getting it on video.

I was currently driving stupid Dakota's stupid car home, digging my nails into the steering wheel. His mother had called me and asked me to drive over his car after I got out of school.

The plan origionally was to drop the car off and leave, and I fully intended to follow it. But, when I thought of that idiot fighting, I got pissed. So, the plan was tossed out the window.

I pulled the car in his driveway and walked in the house. The house was vacated, but I knew he was in his room.

I stormed down the stairs and saw him laying on his bed. "What the hell did you do, Dakota?!" I threw his keys on the floor. He groggily looked up at me, and groaned. All the blood was gone, but he was left with a split lip, two black eyes forming, swollen cheek and a split eyebrow.

"Kitty, quiet."

"No! Why did you two fight? Who started it?" I pressed, crossing my arms.

Dakota sat up, and managed to slowly stand.

"I did, Kit. I had good reason, too." He said gruffly, and I raised an eyebrow, silently urging him to go on.

"I already didn't like him hanging around him because of what I told you before. But I heard him say something in the hallway, and I fucking lost it, Kitty." Dakota shook his head, gritting his teeth.

"Kota, what did he say?" I asked. Dakota grunted, and clenched his fists. "He said he was really close to getting in your pants, and wanted to get you to leave me. And other stuff that I don't want you to hear because it was disgusting." He put his hands on my waist and squeezed gently.

"I didn't want him to touch you because you're...you're mine. My girl." Dakota's voice was low, and I had to suppress a smile. I'm supposed to be mad at him, after all.

"He really said that?" I asked quietly, and he gently knocked our foreheads together. "And some more." Dakota shrugged, and I hummed. "Well, you're stupid. And now you're gone for three days. Who's gonna get the boys to stop being angry with me?" I poked his chest. "They're mad at you?" He cocked his head.

"Yeah. Chris especially." I murmured. "Tori and Kyah are pretty angry with me, too. How about you work on the girls and I'll smack the guys around." Dakota kissed me, mumbling the words against my lips.

"Deal." I felt my resolve crumble when he tugged me closer by my belt loops.
