Chapter 3 : The Monster Incarnate

Jack is sitting on a bartender table and drinking some fruit beer. Some matches have already passed by. He tried to look at the arena but the crowds are blocking the view. He finishes up his glass and calls the waitress.

"Excuse me, can I have one more?"

The cute bartender pours some juice on his glass. A girl comes and sit besides him and orders for a beer. Jack turns his head and see that the girl is Natalia. He immediately blushes and starts shaking. "Sir, are you okay?", asks the bartender girl.

Jack: yes I am. Thank you!

Natalia to the bartender: "so Catherine, how long are you planning work as waitress. I mean, it's not like you'll not get any other jobs!"

Catherine: Well, you are right. But it's not about jobs. I actually like this place and I want to be here. I can't just sit around and do nothing, so here I am!

Jack thinks: seems like they are friends.

Natalia: you really are stupid. These stinky animals come and hit on you all the time and all you do is serve them. Don't be so naive. They take advantage.

Jack think: why am I having this feeling that she will hate me before even knowing me.

Catherine: Haha Nata, thanks for your concern. But I'm used to all these now. And nobody can do anything to me here now, can they?

Natalia: your grandpa is a pervert and you have no one else. So if you're thinking that no one will try doing anything to you just because he is here than I guess you're risking it!

Catherine blushes. "No.. I mean everyone knows how he is but it's not like that he likes me or something.

Natalia: here you go again. All flustered about him. Don't worry, he'll soon realise his feelings.

Frankly announces: ladies and gentlemen. Here we are to the tonight's main event.

Crowds cheers their lungs out.

Jack thinks: well, it's the last match then. But the old man said something about those baldies getting their punishment. Did his old age made him forget?

Natalia to blushed Catherine: Seeing your expression I can understand a whole lot of things.

Catherine: wh..what? No! I'm just anticipating the main event!

Natalia: I see.

Frankly: Folks! Here it comes. Tonight's main event is not just a simple match! It is a handicap match! So think again before betting all your sensational money!

Jack thinks: a handicap match!? Isn't that too harsh!

Frankly: first let me introduce the partners. They both have a record of 9 wins and 4 losses. 'The twin barrage'. Simon and Timon!

Jack thinks out loud: wait what? What kind of punishment is that? They are fighting a single guy. That's no punishment. That old pervert has gotten a screw loose!

Natalia: Excuse me, newbie. But that old man you are talking about is my friend Cath's grandfather!

Catherine: aaaha now Nat, it's okay.

Natalia: no it's not!

Jack: I'm sorry I didn't know. I didn't mean to...

Natalia: you be sorry to her not me.

Jack in his thoughts: this is the first time we talked and I feel like my guts are being cut and placed on my hands.
