Chapter 6

Asuka POV

"Huh?", I asked as with a raised eyebrow as I walked into the living room.

"Uhhh. H-hi, I'm Timmy.", said a timid boy with ginger hair and glasses as his eyes darted all over the room, never making eye contact with mine.

"And I'm Riven.", a magenta haired boy smirked.

"They're our 2 new roommates.", Brandon added.

"And you called me out for this...?", I grunted as I rubbed the bridge of my nose in annoyance.

"Hey! If we didn't wake you up, you would've slept the whole day away!", Sky rebutted as he hooked his arm around my shoulder.

"And I was alright with that. The longer time I don't have to send with you, the better.", I sighed. I heard someone snicker. When I glanced sideways, I realized Riven was the one laughing.

"What's so funny?", Sky asked with a raised eyebrow.

"It just looks like sleeping beauty had a reason to sleep, that's all.", Riven smirked. I raised a eyebrow in amusement.

"Then I'm glad you think I'm beautiful.", I snorted with my arms crossed. Riven's eyes widen while Sky laughed.

"Nice one!", Sky congratulated me with a pat on the back. I just shrugged.

"Y-you know that's not what I meant!", Riven yelled in anger.

"Whatever, it's fine if you wanna hide your homo-side. I just need a cup of coffee.", I yawned as I walked to the kitchen. I bit the inside of my cheek, trying to get rid of my tiredness. I was about to walk back to my room with my cup of coffee in my hand, but I was prevented from my task.

"Oi! Where do you think you're going?", Sky called out as he pat my shoulder that was holding the coffee. I flinched as I saw the steaming coffee swirl around before settling down.

"Careful!"

"Sorry!"

"Now, lets go back to town!", Sky suggested. My eyebrows frowned in aggravation.

"And why will I do that?"

"So you can get familiar with the new roommates! After all, we'll be stuck with them for a long time.", Sky said. I looked over at the said people; Timmy and Riven.

Timmy was sitting on a couch, his body coiled together. Once in a while, he would shift in nervousness. His eyes darted around the room as he fidgeted with his fingers. When he saw I was looking at him, he automatically looked away.

Riven on the other hand, sat on a chair like he ruled the place. He sat with his legs apart, and arms in armrests. Once he saw I was looking at him, he glared at me. I just rolled my eyes at his abnormal behavior.

"Nah, I'm good. This is my last day until I have to start 'school'. I would rather spend my time in peace. And plus, the last time I went with you, I had to save your ass."

"C'mon! Brandon! Convince Asuka to come!", Sky called over to Brandon.

"But we didn't even ask Timmy or Riven yet...", Brandon sweat-dropped at the situation.

".....Why am I not surprised...?", I muttered in disbelief.

"A-ah, whatever! Come one, Man! Aren't you hungry? Timmy, Riven?"

"U-I'm good with whatever...", Timmy timidly said, I barley even heard him since his audible statement was hardly detectable.

"Sure, as long as I'm not paying.", Riven shrugged. Then Sky looked at me with hopefulness in his eyes. I groaned.
