Youngjae-Coffee Shop Pit Stop

Youngjae likes girls that have a certain unique charm.

"Why did I have to get hired at the coffee shop?" Charlotte complained while dramatically throwing herself on her bestfriend's bed.

"Well, if you already knew that you hated coffee, why did you apply there?" Liz asked while trying to comfort her whining friend and study her french textbook at the same time.

"I applied everywhere!" Charlotte defended herself. "The coffee shop was just the first place that was willing to hire me."

"Well, maybe you just make the best of it until you get offered a better job!"

Charlotte sighed angrily. "Easy for you to say. You don't work there. You work in a smoothie store! Smoothies are sooooo much better than lattes and americanos!"

Liz smiled. "I kinda have to agree with you there."

Charlotte stared out Liz's window for awhile while she read her book. Finally she sighed and got off of Liz's bed. "I have to go to work," Charlotte grumbled.

"Have fun!"

"I'll try."

"One cup of passion tea and one americano!" Charlotte called out, placing the two beverages on the counter for their owners to retrieve before she returned to the register. She pressed a few buttons on the computer, clearing the calculator and such, and looked up into the eyes of her next customer. Or rather, next seven customers.

Her eyes grew wide and her heart jumped into her throat as she realized that she had to serve GOT7. She swallowed painfully and barely managed to breath, "Omo."

The boys laughed. It must have been obvious that Charlotte knew who they were. But as they spoke in korean amongst themselves, she noticed that one of them was missing. "Where is Youngjae?" she wondered.

She cleared her throat and looked down at her registers screen. "Hello, can I help you?" Mark ordered for all of them and they all sat down at one of the big tables at the back of the coffee shop. Once Charlotte was finished with their orders, it was the end of her shift. She quickly ran to the bathroom.

After finishing her business, she stepped out of the bathroom and faceplanted into a wall. Well, more like a chest. As she rubbed her now red forehead, she looked up into the embarressed face of Youngjae, who had just exited the men's restroom. "Sorry!" he managed to say with his thick asian accent.

Charlotte laughed. "It's okay!"

Youngjae laughed and smiled at her. "My name Youngjae," he said, placing one hand on his chest.

Charlotte giggled. "I know. Charlotte imnida!"

Youngjae's eyes widened in amazement. "You know, korean?"

Charlotte held her thumb and her pointer close together. "Little."

"Oh." Youngjae nodded in understanding. "I teach korean and you english?" he asked.

Charlotte nodded. "Sure! Want some coffee?"

Youngjae furiously shook his head. "No, no, no. Me no like coffee. Coffee yuck!" He made a gag face that made Charlotte laugh.

"Good! Me too! Yuck!" She made a gag face too and he smiled. "Do you like smoothie?" Youngjae nodded. "I know a good smoothie shop not far from here. Wanna come with me?"

"Yes." Youngjae grabbed her hand and grinned like a child. Charlotte had to hide her blush. "Kaja!"

"Kaja!" Together they ran to the smoothie shop and Charlotte introduced Liz to Youngjae.

"So, are you still upset about working in the coffee shop?" Liz asked. She and Charlotte were both laying on her bed after the eventful day.

"Well, if I hadn't been working there, we never would've met GOT7," Charlotte admitted.

"I'm glad you work there! Now I have Mark's phone number!" She squealed and fangirled while Charlotte just smiled.

Charlotte's phone vibrated and she quickly checked it before Liz noticed. It was a text from Youngjae.

Youngjae: Good night jagiya.

Charlotte blushed with his usage of the word 'darling' that showed so much affection within the korean culture.

Charlotte: Good night oppa.

Youngjae: Saranghae Charlotte ^////////^

Charlotte: I love you too ^_^
