Sam

"Leeettts noott getttt druuunkkk." He said as he tried to hug the table. He just stayed there for a while.

I glanced in the direction where I had last seen Lisa. She was nowhere to be seen.

The song changed to Diamonds by Rihanna, the right song for me right now.

I suddenly wanted to dance, that's what music does to me, it can change my mood within a fraction of second.

I joined the dance floor and followed the beat.

I danced like that for an hour or so. I finally found the house party fun.

After dancing that much, I left the dance floor to look for a drink.

I took a shot of whiskey, then two and then three. Still, I wasn't drunk.

Enough. I said to myself. If you drink more, you might lose your sanity. I scolded myself.

I didn't focus on anyone who was near me.

"Having fun??" a guy spoke to me, smilingly.

"Yeah!" I let my guard down and smiled back. I was in a good mood.

"Ready for another shot??" He said as he filled a glass.

"Umm.." I can't drink more, that's enough for me. I tried to listen to my mind.

"I need to use the restroom." I excused myself. Farther from drinks, saner am I.

I went to look for the restroom, well to escape from the urge to drink more.

I found a staircase, so I just took the way. I needed fresh air.

There were rooms upstairs, with lesser people. I continued to go upstairs.

This time I reached the rooftop. Cold breeze flew through the area. I reached the railing and gazed into the beautiful night sky, more peaceful, more lovingly pure. I just stayed there, closed my eyes, and felt the moment.

Someone coughed. The sound came from behind. I thought I was alone here.

I turned to look. A slender figure rose in the shadows and walked towards me. It was hard to notice who it was unless the face became visible.

I noticed that it was Taehyung with messed hair. It looked as if he just woke up.

He came and stood beside me.

"Taehyung???" I said out of the blue.

"Yeah?" He looked at me confusingly.
"Do I know you?" He continued.

"No, I'm Sam, I'm Lisa's friend." I offered my hand for a handshake with a smile.

He took the offer and smiled back. "Hey". He had sobered up by now.

"The party is nice." I tried to keep the conversation going on.

"Yeah, I drank a lot." He chuckled.

"Thanks for the invite."

"Sorry?? This isn't my party."

"Ooh, I had a misunderstanding." I smiled embarrassingly.

"Aigoo, no need to be embarrassed." He flashed his boxy smile.

"That's right. Do you know that you were dancing on the table?" I couldn't help the chuckle.

"Come on, I was drunk." He was laughing too.

"Yeah, I clearly saw you hugging the ping pong table saying 'let's not get drunk'." It was getting harder to control the laughter.

"Hey, don't you do something like that when you are drunk?" He burst out laughing too.

I had to hold my stomach, it was aching from laughing hard.

"You look like a monkey when you laugh." He said catching him breath.

"you look like a frog." We both were by now on the floor holding our stomachs.

"Geudamneul algesso...." My phone rang. It was Lisa

"Hey," I said between laughing my ass off.

"Whsnnzn.........."

I couldn't hear anything because of the loud music.

"I can't hear anything you say," I shouted at the phone.

"............." Nothing was audible. I disconnected the call.

I tried texting her. But no reply came.

"Ooh. Lisa.." Taehyung said as he glanced at my phone.

" Yeah, I need to find her," I said getting up.

"Best of luck," Taehyung said, still sitting on the floor comfortably.

"You too." I smiled before leaving.

I went downstairs and searched for her. Damn, looking for her wasn't easy in this big crowd.

I got tired of searching and stepped out of the house to breathe in the fresh air.

I called her again. She didn't pick up this time.

I saw a bench on the other side of the road, so I got seated.

"Oettoriya, oettoriya daridiridaradu....." I started humming .

(A/N:- Its 'I'm a loner' by cnblue.)

I glanced at my watch, it was 11:47 PM.

"Where the fuck are you girl??" I shouted frustratedly.

After waiting for 15 minutes more, I decided to get back home.

I walked for 10 minutes through the unknown alleys following my GPS when a message popped up.

'Your wish is granted. Tomorrow at Music World 6:00 PM sharp.'

Though the message didn't tell the name of the sender, I knew who it was. I was suddenly engulfed by happiness. I wanted to shout and do a happy dance. The butterflies in my stomach danced too.

I was going to learn about music. I was going to do what I dreamed of. Finally.
