Chapter 3

This will be a reminder/warning for the remaining chapters. There may or may not be suicidal thoughts/ actions in this chapter and if you feel uncomftorable with these types of things then I don't suggest you read this book because it wont be enjoyable for you. Anyway let's get on with the chapter.

Coran POV

I was shocked at how Keith talked to Lance. It was rude first of all and second it probably really hurt Lance. Speaking of Lance I noticed that he threw out his food and left right after they talked. I'm going to go see what's wrong. "Number 5" I whisper to the shortest paladin of the group. "Wha's up Coran?" "I'm going to check on Lance you should follow, I also recorded what Keith said because I know you didn't hear it." She nodded and then put her headphones in the device and I walked away but just as I left I could here PIdge scream and then scold Keith for what he said. She might take a while so I went up to the ninth floor myself. Once I finally reached Lances room I knocked on the door noticing it was slightly colder than the other doors in the castle. It must have been his powers. I knocked on the door softly as to try and not startle Lance more  than he already is. "Lance is it ok if I come in and talk to you?" I hear rustling and then a door opening, he must have been in the bathroom. He opens the door and embraces me tightly I hug him back and let him silently cry on my shoulder. He is really cold and I wonder if that is just how he regularly feels or if it's because the heat in his room was turned down for a long time. "Want to talk about it my boy." He said nothing but did pull me into his room and pushed me lightly so that I was sitting on his egg chair that must have been set up by him. Either that or the room gives him what he would like in the blink of an eye. He goes to his nightstand and pulls out a notepad and a pencil made by number 5. He starts writing something down and then shows me what he has written down. "Keith used an Alpha command on me, even if he didn't mean to. And when I spoke back after he said that I almost choked on my own blood because I disobeyed him." I read aloud. "OMG are you ok Lance, you haven't told me your secondary gender yet but I know Prime Alphas can make anyone even an Alpha obey a command. "He nodded while tearing up and wrote down two words that I knew were a lie. "I'm fine." He put the notebook back into the drawer and lightly picked me up like a pup and set me down outside his room. He smiled and then closed the door manually locking it from the inside. I sighed and made my way back downstairs where I heard yelling coming from the kitchen. "Keith are you fucking insane Lance did nothing wrong all he wanted to do was be part of the conversation and you had the nerve to use an Alpha command on him, and when he spoke back trying to make you less mad at him he probably injured himself. ALL BECAUSE OF YOU!" I opened the door to see number five standing on the table yelling at number 4 aka keith. "I did not use an Alpha command on Lance I just told him to shut up because he spoke during a conversation that he wasn't invited into, I've never Alpha commanded anyone and don't even know what they sound like so there."

Pidge POV

"Shiro~" I said as calmly as I could. "Why hasn't Keith learned what an Alpha command sounds like-" I glare at Shiro baring my teeth. "-if he is quite clearly A FUCKING PRIME ALPHA! You know they can make any secondary gender submit except for other prime Alphas. You should fucking know this since you are a prime Alpha as well." He looked down and the spoke after a few moments of what looked like deep thinking. "I did teach him about what an Alpha command sounds like as I demonstrated a command myself knowing it wouldn't affect him. Though i guess he forgot didn't you Keith." It was quite funny to see Shiro glaring at Keith who merely ignored him and opted to just stare at me instead. "Oh is that so. Well Keith since you have forgotten I'll give you a brief overview of what an Alpha command is and how it sounds along with how it affects the person you command. An Alpha command is only able to be used by alphas and prime alphas hence the name and is typically used on omegas to make them submit to your wishes. You cannot make your own kind submit unless you are a prime alpha in which you are able to command even a regular alpha such as myself and hunk to submit to you. Now for how they sound it's simple to identify. Alpha commands are like a projection of your regular shout that allows your voice to affect another secondary gender, their inner wolf will either submit or if they are brave they can fight against the command but that comes with consequences. It depends on the person and what command you give. If it has to do with the body like you telling someone to stand in one spot but they move anyways, they will be put through excruciating pain throughout their entire body that will force them to stay. But since you commanded Lance to shut up and he talked back it must have affected his throat or vocals in some way. So until you tell lance he can speak again he will remain silent. Got it?" "Yeah I got it but I'm not going to allow him to talk though, maybe not speaking for a while will give him a better view on how to respect others and to mind his own business." I couldn't believe it but I saw hunk Shiro and Allura nod in agreement and resume whatever they were doing before this all happened acting like it had never happened in the first place. 'Does he not get that he's endangering the entire group by doing this, Lance wont be able to communicate without hurting himself. Ugh. But.....what he said may be true, I mean Lance has broken my concentration right before I have made a giant breakthrough in science before and never apologized for it. I'm sure he'll let Lance speak soon.' I thought as I got off the table and walked to Coran asking him asking him if he could come with me to help with some science things. He agreed and we walked to my room, both forgetting about Lance and his problem.
