So my lovely readers, this book will be ending soon, I feel if it were to continue for too long then there wouldn't be anything else to write about that would move the story along. I have some big plans for the last chapters though so I hope you enjoyed the story and look forward to the finale chapter~!

Matt POV

It had been a few months since I had left the Paladins alone with no indication as to when I was coming back...so I decided to travel back to them. After all Lance was so busy training everyone that I felt I needed to train the Paladins as well. What for? Who knows. Definitely not me, but I'm not questioning Lance. He's been terribly on edge these past few weeks and I can't help but feel something big is coming...and it won't be pretty once it arrives.

I stood in the bay of the Galran ship as Lance hugged me tightly. "Make sure to tell them I'm safe and well, and that Astel is too." "I will Lance don't worry. Hold down the fort here, we will all meet soon." I said and smiled as he let go sadly and created a portal that I walked through not looking back... or I wouldn't have left at all.

Back at the castle when I arrived it was silent. I thought everyone was asleep but as I started walking back through the halls I heard grunting and thumps coming from the training room. Curious he set his bag down and peeked through the ajar door, coming face to face with team Voltron, or I guess you could say the new form of Voltron. The training deck looked like a burnt down forest with giant mountains reaching the ceiling. I quietly walked in to see Shiro, Pidge, Hunk and Keith panting and lying on the floor tiredly. "Now that was tiring!" Hunk complained and the others grunted as a sign of agreement. "Too tired to see me?"

Everyone stiffened, and then before I knew what was going on I was tackled to the ground and slapped across the face by the one and only pidge. "You fucking left me all alone again I didn't know if you were safe or hurt or when you were going to come back. You're a jerk!" She yelled and then collapsed against my chest starting to shake. I silently wrapped my arms around her as she began to cry. After a bit she calmed down and got off, pulling me up on my feet. Shiro Hunk and Keith kept their distance until I smiled and held out my arms. They all gave me a big group hug, even Allura and Corran joined. It was so nice to be back with them after leaving without a second thought during a rage fit. "So is Lance safe? Where is he? Do we need to go rescue him?!" Pidge started listing off questions in my ear as if she had rehearsed them beforehand. "Lance is safe, I won't tell you where he is because that is his choice not mine, and no we don't need to rescue him. He is perfectly safe and healthy where he is." I said with a smile as they all visibly relaxed.

We spent the rest of the day relaxing, cooking, and getting things organized. As we all fell asleep in a pile in the living room I chuckled. "Lance would love to be here right now....let's just hope he can come back someday..." I dreamed about Lance rejoining Voltron, fighting alongside the paladins...but in the end he doesn't make it...I woke up in a cold sweat seeing it was still very early. I couldn't fall back asleep after that so I took a hot shower to clear my mind. Why did I dream that? Does it mean anything? Is someone trying to warn me about something?....Is this the future..? If so...then something bad is going to happen...and it isn't going to be pretty in the slightest.

Hello my lovely readers. Another shorter chapter. BUT! I believe this is the final chapter before the two part finalle! I already have that chapter planned out so bear with me as I write, edit, and publish both parts for you guys. It feels like it's been forever since I've written this story and I deeply appologize. School is terrible but I just finished midterms so I have more time to do the things I love which is...write for you guys! I hope you guys have a wonderful day!
