It was finally Saturday and Dana had agreed to let me go to the party. I was excited and nervous. Carter had been speaking to me more at school and even came over a couple of times with Harris. Hannah wasn't around him as much and I found that odd. When I asked Harris about it, he just shrugged his shoulders.

Alana was over and was doing my hair and make up. I didn't have any makeup, so she had brought hers. She was going to 'transform' me. Her words. She refused to let me look in the mirror until my hair was done and makeup and dress was on.
"How much longer Lana?" I whined.
"Hush girl, you're going to be the prettiest thing at that party!" She gushed and I chuckled.
We both got dressed, finally and Lana uncovered the mirror. I gasped at the girl looking back at me.
"Holy shiz Lana!" I shrieked, "what did you do to me! I look so, so,"
"Gorgeous!" Lana finished.
"Lana, you're amazing! Thank you so much!" I gushed and hugged her, "and you look beautiful!"
"Thanks sweety! Now get your shoes on and let's go!"
I was wearing a royal blue, knee length dress that had sparkles on the bodice and black high heel shoes. Alana had curled my hair into soft bouncy curls and put on light makeup. I was looking nice and I had Lana to thank. We made our way downstairs and met Harris.
"Wow! You girls look beautiful!" Harris gushed and Alana turned a cute shade of pink. She had a crush on Harris for the longest time and I secretly knew that Harris liked her too and was waiting for the right moment to ask her out.
"Thanks bro!" I said cheerily and saw that Harris' eyes were glued on Alana. I chuckled and cleared my throat.
"You guys ready to go now?" I asked and they both just nodded.
"Save me a dance," I heard Harris say to Lana and I smiled. They would be so cute together.
We got into Harris' car and made our way to Jessie's. Once we got there, we could hear the music pounding from the parking spot.
"Jessie's parties are always epic," Harris said smiling, "you two be safe and come and find me the minute you'll want to leave okay?"
"Sure bro," I said smiling, "but I don't think that Alana would leave without dancing with you first!" I said chuckling and they both blushed.
We made our way into the house and Harris went into the kitchen to get us something to drink. He wasn't going to drink because he said that since it was my first party, he would be the designated driver and that I should have fun. As Lana and I stepped into the living room, which was transformed into a dancing area, all eyes were on us. Jessie turned the music down a little and I suddenly became self conscious with all eyes on me. Alana went to lots of parties so she wasn't that perturbed as me.
"Red!" Jessie yelled and came to hug me. As the other guys heard Jessie, they all made their way to me and I could feel the jealous stares of the girls, burning into my back.
"Guys! It's so good to see you again!" I gushed, "this is my friend Alana!"
"Hi," Jessie said and turned to the guys, "boys she's off limits. She's the one that Harris keeps going on about!" We all chuckled and Alana's face was as red as a tomato. Harris made his way to us and handed us our drinks. He asked Alana to dance and she agreed shyly.
"You look gorgeous, by the way," Jessie said and the guys agreed and I blushed.
"Thanks guys, you're too sweet!" I said and looked around trying to spot Carter.
