Marissa's POV

Chilling with the guys was really nice. They didn't judge me or harass me. I felt quite comfortable with them. Jessie was cooking up a storm in the kitchen and I was with the guys in the living room kicking their asses in Grand Theft Auto.

"Dude! Where did you learn to play like that!" Trent whined.

"Hey when you're a nerd and have no parties to go to on a weekend, video games keep you going!" I said and they chuckled. The smell coming from the kitchen was intoxicating and my stomach started to rumble. Jessie was a culinary student at college and he wanted to test out a new recipe for one of his assignments. Just as I was about to get up and go into the kitchen, the front door burst open but I couldn't see who it was.

"Jessie! I need your help bro! This friend of mine, Marissa, is missing and we can't find her and dude, I need to find her man. She's so awesome bro, I like her and we have to find her and when we find her I'm going to tell her I like her bro! We have to find her man!" The person said frantically and I immediately recognised the voice as Carter's. I was blushing furiously at the fact that he said he liked me and the guys chuckled and told me to wait in the living room. They wanted to tease Carter.

"Hey Carter," Josh said, "describe this girl bro." Harris started to speak, but Carter cut him off.

"Guys, she gorgeous, but doesn't even know it. She has beautiful red hair and the most prettiest eyes that I have ever seen. I have a photo," he said and I was stunned. Carter actually liked me and has a photo! He showed the guys the photo and they all chuckled. I began to wonder what photo that was.

"Come on guys, we need your help! Please let's go find her!" Carter urged and I giggled at his enthusiasm.

"Who was that?" Harris asked, suspiciously.

"Er, no one?" Jessie said, but that came out as more of a question. The guys couldn't hold it in much longer and burst out laughing.

"I never thought that I'd see the day that my little brother was so whipped!" Jessie said chuckling and Carter shrugged.

"Come on bro!" Carter urged.

"Go into the living room for a while and cool down bro," Jessie said in amusement and I almost shrieked. The door to the living room opened and I stood stunned. Carter's eyes -idened.

"Red!" He yelled, "gosh, thank goodness you're okay! Harris and I have been looking everywhere for you! What is wrong with you huh? How can you just run off like that? Do you know how worried we were?" Carter continued yelling and tears started to build up in my eyes. Just then, Harris came in.

"Red," he said softly and pulled me in for a hug, "please don't ever do something like this again! You're lucky Jessie and the guys saw you and not some other dangerous people!"

"Why do you care?" I asked him, with tears rolling down my cheeks.

"Red, I've always cared about you. Hannah is a fool. You are more of a sister to me than she is. She might be my twin, but we have always been closer. Why would you even listen to her?"

"I-I just thought that she was telling the truth," I stammered.

"No silly girl," Harris said, wiping my tears away, "Hannah is full of nonsense. Don't ever listen to her. You're perfect and an amazing sister okay?" I nodded my head and smiled at my brother. All the guys were silent and Josh had tears in his eyes as well. I could tell that he was the softie in the group. Carter just stared at us and I could see that he really was worried.
