I could feel somebody pressing their lips to my forehead, so I delicately flicked my eyes open wary of the light that I knew was surrounding the room. My eyes focused and I realized that Lucas was bent over me. I grabbed onto the front of his top, pulling him back towards to me.

"Hey, where are you sneaking off too?" I grinned.

He smiled down at me, "I'm meeting some friends and going to speak with the university to just further confirm my move." Lucas explained.

"Hmm, okay. I suppose I'll let you leave me then." I smirked.

He kissed me quickly, before standing up and leaving the room.

I lay there on my bed smiling like a complete idiot to myself. It really was good to have Lucas back, he was all the parts of myself that were good. Before I met him I had a lower self esteem, which is perfectly understandable I mean every girl I knew did, but then with him, he made me feel like I wasn't just this girl, I was everything more.

My phone vibrated suddenly underneath my pillow. I groaned as I moved from my comfy position to see who had messaged me. I rubbed my tired eyes, trying to get rid of the sleepy feeling and glanced down at my screen.

JAKE: I reckon the garden needs another sighting by a certain someone...

I grinned to myself and contemplated on my answer. I did desperately want to see the garden again, it was beautiful and I did want to see Jake. Being in his company was somehow soothing and it was like i was letting out this big sigh.

I replied: Pick me up in 10 minutes and we can go and find this certain someone, so that they can see the beauty of the garden x

I chuckled and then pulled myself out of bed, so that I could get ready. I threw on some clean clothes and delicately did my make up, not wanting to have a mascara malfunction this morning. I wrapped a scarf loosely around my neck and exited my room, making sure I locked it behind me.

I ordered two coffees in the shop that was by the building I had just walked out from. A large 1 shot soya cappuccino with extra froth for me and a large black coffee with two sugars for Jake. We had spent enough time with each other that I knew his drink order. As I placed the top onto his coffee, I realized that Lucas never remembered my coffee, but that was probably due to the fact that we didn't really get coffee together.

Jake's car pulled up behind me and I motioned to the drinks in my hand. He smirked and then lifted up two matching takeaway cups to mine.

I laughed and then climbed into his car.

"At least you know I won't fall asleep on you." I smiled.

He bit his lip, hiding his smirk at my comment.

"That's always ideal." Jake replied, before pulling onto the road.

We travelled the familiar route towards the garden and so I just sipped on my drink and shut my eyes.

"You tired?" Jake asked.

I glanced over at him, as he was watching me intently. "Yeah a little, my--I got to bed late." I replied. For some reason I didn't want to tell Jake that Lucas was down for the weekend. I wanted to just talk to him, without having to talk about Lucas all the time. I loved Lucas, of course I did. But I know that he didn't talk about me all the time either.

Jake's face was readable, he knew that I wasn't telling him something. But he didn't ask any questions, which I was thankful for. Before anything could get remotely awkward we had pulled up to one of my new favourite destinations. I practically jumped out of the car like a little girl going to a fun fair for the first time.
