Nina wasn't like all the other girls. She didn't paint her nails or wear pink or play with Barbies. Pink was too bright and stupid and overrated and Barbie dolls were for babies. Nina wasn't a baby, she was 9! From now on Nina decided she hated pink. She hated barbies and that she was a tomboy- who was Nina kidding she loved pink. She wanted to be a ballerina...but didn't every other girl? How was Nina special when she was girly just like every other girl? She sighed and pulled out her dolls. That was another day's problem.
Based on myself when I was little... to pink or not to pink?
