Hey little bluebird
Let me tell you a story.
Please shush it's mine,
Your voice is too soft
Your voice is too harshHey little bluebird
Let me tell you about my day.
But what do you think,
No, wait I don't want to know.Hey little bluebird
What is the matter?
I told all my friends
Just how beautifully you sing,
So why do you scream?
What do you mean?Hey little bluebird
I cleaned your cage
I changed your water
And gave you food.
I bought you into my world,
Why can't I hold you?
Why don't you love me?Hello Jailer
I want to be free
I want to find my own food
Find my own water
Why do you keep me locked away?Hello jailer
I sing a song to pass the time
It is not for you
Or your friends
Unless, of course
It is the fee to be set free
Then I will sing you every song I knowHello Jailer
You may not touch me
For your hand's smell of death
And the words you speak
Deafening poison
Infecting me every chance you getHello Jailer,
I am unhappy
I scream for help
Whenever I find the strengthYou say you don't understand
And I no longer blame you
For as long as you have me trapped
I need your food
I need your water
I need your misguided care
I need you but I do not love you.Hey little bluebird
You will never leave me,
Right?Right.
