"Five squads remain!" Mirage spoke as the three of you ran into the Cascades. You could do this. You could do this. You could do this.

At least, that's what you told yourself.

With a deep breath, you stretched slightly, trying to shake the fear out of you. Seeing Mirage just lounging around, you grabbed his shoulder, "Come on, Elliot, let's get moving."

Mirage frowned, not seeming to like the use of his real name during the game, but you didn't care. The ring was getting smaller now, dangerously small. You got another alert. Four squads remain.

"I like pushing limits as much as the next guy, but we should get inside the ring." Octane said, pointing the the direction of the ring. "Let's go." You spoke, running after Octane. Mirage followed the two of you soon after.

"Ring's up ahead," you noted, glancing around. Suddenly, Octane moved behind the cover of some bushes, "I see a squad up ahead, compadres!"

Squinting, you were able to spot the squad as well. Not that far away, so the three of you had to be careful. Ducking behind the bushes as well, you took another glance at the squad. They were heading to the ring. If your squad was sneaky, you could move around the enemy squad with ease. You whispered about trying to go around the enemy squad and Mirage and Octane agreed.

Sliding down the hill silently, you led the way. You clung the to shadows of the small building, hearing footsteps somewhere nearby. With a peek around the corner, you motioned that it was a good time to go. Mirage used vanishing act, and Octane sent out his jump pad. Once again, the jump pad hurled you into the air, but this time you landed better. Octane was already sprinting ahead of you, and you struggled to keep up. Soon enough, the three of you reunited in the ring.

"Three squads left." Octane grinned, and you could hear firing from two teams nearby. If you let them fight, your squad could come and clean up, and win the game!

The three of you took shelter inside a building, glancing around and staying alert. You sat next to Octane beside the window. "Wow, we might win this, amiga!" Octane pumped his fist in the air, looking over to yeah. "Yeah, we'll try." You smiled a sweet little smile, then looking away. "Hey, Octane..?" You leaned over to his ear, "I..."

"Grenade! Incoming!" Mirage shouted, and you scrambled to your feet, Octane gripping onto your hand and pulling you downstairs. You heard an explosion, and waited for Mirage.

But he didn't come.

You walked upstairs, just to see the banner of Mirage. "It's too late to revive him, there's only two squads left, amiga!" Octane shouted. You felt guilty, even though it wasn't your fault that Mirage died.

The two of you rushed outside and split up, only for you to be met by a gun pressed to your temple.

"It seems about time to give it up." The enemy, who you recognized as Bangalore, said with a little smirk.
