Ace' POV

It is my last year in Junior High. Here in school is pretty boring. I should've not gone in here. But for my educational purposes, I still went.

I am a Raider. Raiders are the ones who play Night Raid. The seasons are already over and we are only 1st Place, not champions.

We lost to Starlight Academy. I hate that school. That school is very gifted. Aces from different schools are always gathered at there.

Our loss is the reason of me not being motivated going to school. The teachers have none against me now. They can't say that if I fail, I can't play.

I pretended that I am listening to my teacher. Study doesn't interest me and I don't know why. But when it is about Night Raid, I can learn easily. Does the school have black magic?

Anyways, the bell rang and we started tp pack our things. It is already our dismissal time. I went to the club room of Night Raid. Our school focuses on academics that is why the varsities here only have a limited time of training.

The school admin already told us to get our things. Three months from now, I am going to graduate. I am going to leave this school.

When I reached our clubroom, I saw our Leader, Raze. He is done packing his things. He also packed my things. Most of the Raiders here have left. I can tell since the club room looks like it is already clean.

"Ace! Here are your things. I fixed it for you," Raze said.

"Thanks!" I replied. I am trying to sound like a cheerful schoolmate here. It is because until now, I am still disappointed at myself. I am disappointed that we lost. After all the hard work, we still lost.

Maybe it is not my time to win yet.

"Last battle is still memorable don't you?" he asked.

"Yeah. It is still in my memory," I answered.

"The school admin told me that they already recommended you at Cosmos High School. The Starlight High School rejected the school's recommendation about you," he told me.

"Tsk. I don't care and I have no plans in joining them. But I have plans on defeating them," I replied.

"Then I should leave now. Starlight High School already accepted the school's recommendation about me. We may fight against each other soon," he bidded farewell.

"Yeah. And I hope you win against me that time" I boasted and winked.

He just laughed and leave the clubroom.

In my opinion, even if the school is like this, they still support the varsity. I mean, yes, they only give us a limited amount of time when it comes to training but our equipments are neat and effective. The school still let us play. And I should appreciate that. It is better than not playing.

Someone came into the clubroom. I looked who it was and there I saw Yani. She still carries her bag, meaning she haven't gone to her dorm yet.

"What's up?" she asked.

What's up? Is that even girly? Yani is really a boyish type of girl but she is my bestfriend. She is fun to be with. We are childhood friends and it is really a coincidence that we are in the same school.

I studied in this school because my parents punished me. While Yani studied here to beat stronger schools. However, we both lost at the end.

"I am planning to go to Cosmos High School even though I don't know if they already accepted the school's recommendation about me," she said.

"Coincidence. I am planning to go there too," I replied. "What makes you go there?" I questionned.

"They said that the school has an interesting Raider. Codename's Zero," she answered.

"Wow. That is the first time I heard such compliment from you," I teased.

"No! It is just that the guy is the Top 1 Solo Player in Night Raid. You may not know him because you focus too much on Team's/Unity's Division," Yani pointed out.

"What?" I asked in disbelief. "But even if that player is a top notch, you won't say that it interests you. What information you had in your hand huh,"

"Nothing!" she refused.

"Fine. Then I will go to Starlight High School," I said.

She doesn't want to go to that school and so do I. But I can cover my face so I could deny it easily. But Yani has so much hate in that school. And I know that she doesn't want me to go there.

"Fine! I will tell you!" she gave up.

"Okay. Now tell me," I demanded.

"There are rumors, that he was a member of Team Dino," Yani started.

"What?! The Legendary Group from Night Raid Academy?"

"Yes, and what is worse is that their Leader and the other two members betrayed him. Only one member stayed by his side. And even if they are outnumbered, they still managed to win," Yani explained.

"I know what happened to Team Dino. But I never knew that their leader is the one who started the treachery. What a disgrace," I commented.

"I know right. But do you know why I wanted to go to that school?" Yani asked.

"Why?"

"It is because that Zero is the Vice Leader of that team and at the same time, their strategist. Dude, STRATEGIST. That is what we are finding for years!" she exclaimed with a sparkling eyes.

"Yes. And if he is a Vice leader that managed to win against a 2 vs 8 match, then his tricks are no joke. Besides, he already have leadership. He can lead us," I continued.

"Yes! Yes! Now you know why I want to go there!" Yani exclaimed.

"But what if he is not that guy? It is only a rumor right?" I asked.

"My instincts never lied to me Ace. Even if he is not the person, I know something good will happen. Let us just have faith on what is waiting for us. Even if it is hard at the beginning, I know it is worth it in the end," she said smiling.

"Okay fine. I am going to Cosmos too. Make sure that we will meet there okay?" I reassured.

"Of course! I will be waiting for you!" Yani agreed.

After our conversation, we take a last look at our clubroom. All my memories of Junior High will be here. That is the thing that will keep me moving when I am falling down.

Cosmos High School? Zero? I don't care if they are big names. If they are a failure, then they are. I am going to win base on my capabilities.

Let us just hope that even if that person is the Zero from team Dino's group or not, he should be strong to be a leader.
