It's been a week after my silly rain dancing with claude. It is now exam time, and i've been studying non-stop at the library, before and after school accompanied by alucard, of course. But unlike last time when we can chat, we don't as of now.
I'm taking this seriously, and thankfully, alucard respect that.
At this kind of week, the library is packed though. I can see the others here, types like freya, lesley, lolita, et cetera that still care about their grades are filling the seat and that includes rafaela as well. At first, i kind of worried, thinking that Alucard can't focus, but my speculation is proved wrong.
The bell ring suddenly, marking that it's time to get in the class and start the exam. We rise from our seats and walked to our respectful class. While walking, Alucard eyes is glued on the notebook i gave him for study.
"Hey," i called, before parting ways. He just answers with a hum, not moving an inch from his book. "Good luck on your exam," i sighed with a small smile, respecting his seriousness. But maybe it comes as a surprise to him, he turned his head with wide eyes, stuttering a 'yeah you too' before i leave him.
After the exam, i go to the library like always. I move the door open, only to find the library is very full, making me frozen still, unable to go in. It turns out Alucard's gang is inside, teasing him somewhat at the center of the room. Everybody else looked kind of bothered by it, but none really tell them to scram off. No, im not going to either. There's selena, karina, practically savage duo, then there's moskov, selena's loyal buddy and the rest that i don't want to mention. My feet stayed put at the entrance, looking at the annoyed Alucard for their teasings. I slowly walked out of the area, looking for someplace else to study.
Well, there's always the public library just nearby my house so it's kind of convenient. Then suddenly Claude comes to my mind. He's not a person who'll die for a book like me, but he'll study. My feet walked to the hallway leading to the school gate before a hand on my shoulder held me back. I looked back finding the silver-haired guy looking disheveled. Probably from getting away from his gang.
I shook my head to him," No, alucard, we're pretending to NOT know each other, remember?" I shoved his hand away.
"Yeah, but i still gotta stu-"
"I'll be at the library near my house so don't talk to me right now!" I said, peeking to his back, looking out there's anybody from his gang following him. Well, i kinda see them walking out slowly, so looked back at him. "We'll study there from now on, so bye!" I scurried away to the gate.
But when i arrived. The library is closed for renovation.
"Alright. So... what just happened?" I asked myself as i sit on the sofa at my house, staring at two other boys invading my kitchen, the other walking around, checking every room.
"No other place to be!" The brunette one, Claude said as he munches down cookies with a huge smile, crumbs decorating his mouth. I glared the other guy excitedly opening every door he finds.
"That's the bathroom," i sigh as he opens the white door decorated with translucent glass. "That's my shoe rack, h-hey!" i yelled at him as he tried to open the door to my room. "Sit down you hyped puppy!" I pointed to a sofa in front of me.
"I was just looking around, this place is too good for one person to live in." he shrugs as a defence, walking over towards the sofa. "What's weird is that guy that knows his way around here." I blushed, knowing what he meant but not wanting to give him any ideas, i commanded him to just stay put.
"I remind you, you're here to study, not sleeping over!"
"That's actually a good idea!"
"That's illegal."
