I am lying on the top of the double-decked bed and got awakened by the chirping of love birds from outside of the glass window on my room breathing the fresh air of New Zealand. I took my travelling book and found out I have already been to Africa, Japan, China, South Korea, Switzerland and now in New Zealand. Next stop is Europe, the land of love and luxury. I took a look at my cellular phone’s time finding out we are already late for our flight and look down the double-decked bed to see my best friend still sleeping he’s head off. I folded the blanket and placed it on the bed. I went down to wake him up but he just snorted more. I sighed loudly and began to count from one and he quickly woke up sitting on the bed without making me reach my countdown to three. I remembered when we were just kids; he would always make me wait so I give him a countdown of three seconds. One lazy afternoon with' him on he’s sixth year of age and me on my fifth, he did not do what I want him to after counting to three so I unleashed the four bulldogs of our house and enjoyed watching him save he’s life. Now, he would always do what I want him to do before reaching to three. I know, selfish me. I escaped a laugh and my best friend Jin glared at me making me laugh even more.

“Were late for our flight; I’m taking a bath,” I told him and toddled my way to the bathroom and turned the shower’s curb making the cold water travel down my skin composing my body to produce steam and keep its temperature on a normal state.

I took my mint shampoo embed with crystals massaging my long black hair while clear ice bubbles came floating up on the air. I thoroughly rinsed my hair and took my soap with pure dust gold on its inner and outer part of its circle; rubbing it unto my skin with bubbles appearing and floating like golden stones. I rinsed my body and covered myself with a towel as I turned the curb to stop the flowing of the water. I wore one of my favorite white sleeveless and a pair of jeans. I slid my feet on my white rubber shoes and brewed coffee.

Jin stood up and went inside the bathroom and closed the door. I think, Thank god he finally thought of taking a bath! I heard a flush of the toilet and he opened the door without taking a bath after all.

“I thought you’re taking a bath,” I said looking at him on he’s white t-shirt and he’s pair of blue boxers.

“You’ve been fooled then,” he grinned at me and I sighed rolling both of my eyes.

“You’re not taking a bath yet? It’s already eight o’clock. Our flight is at nine,” I told Jin.

“I’m not taking a bath,” he announced as he sat on the wooden chair opposite to me with the wooden table dividing the both of us.

“You haven’t taken a bath for three days,” I puckered a brow looking at him sipping he’s cup of coffee and he’s bed hair still looking good as usual. In fact, he looks great with a bed hair than he’s combed hair.

“Three days is not that long,” he grinned and gave me a wink sipping more of he’s cupped coffee and I sighed.

I looked at my wrist watch and it’s already nine! Oh my god! I whispered and Jin asked what it is and grabbed both our readied luggage all by myself without explaining it to him. I grabbed him out of the room and I quickly paid for our stay in the inn. The both of us went outside and took my cellular phone for a cab. We waited for a few minutes until the cab came.

The both of us went inside the cab and told the driver to bring us to the international airport. The driver turned on the engine and the car passed by the New Zealand greens. I watched the trees and villages once again outside from the inside of the windowpane to say goodbye to the villagers on my mind. On my mind I whispered to myself with my right hand on the pane.

“What’s with the drama, Chase?” Jin asked me as he slipped to wear he’s pair of jeans and I just glared at him. When me and Jin are together, its like were both from a comic book that has been brought to life.

My name is Chase Baron and this idiot beside me is my best friend Jin Ash. Both of us are fond of travelling and in case you’re asking where in the world we came from, were from the Philippines. Philippines, the place the both of us grew up.

The cab stopped as we arrived at the international airport. I paid the driver of the cab and the both of us ran to the ticketing area and thank God we still made it in time. We went inside the airplane and had our seat.

“I told you were going to make it on time,” Jin told me.

“You told me that?” I asked knowing he did not.

“What can I get you, sir?” our conversation got interrupted as the flight attendant came.

“I would like to have a glass of Martini,” Jin ordered.

“We don’t offer alcoholic drinks on board, sir. If you would like we have different types of juice and delicious coffees, sir.” The flight attendant said.

“I’ll have a coffee and a chocolate cake,” Jin said.

“Oh! And excuse me!” Jin called the flight attendant who was about to leave.

“Yes, sir?” the flight attendant asked.

“I would like to order you’re number too,” Jin said and winks and the flight attendant smiled leaving.

“Are you serious?” I asked him.

“Of course,” Jin said with a grin.

“You have four women already!” I said to him.

“Correction, I have five women already and this one is the upcoming sixth,” he said with a sly grin.

“Besides, don’t you have a romance or two?” he told me.

“Oh! I forgot, they all failed,” Jin said laughing and I glared at him.

“HAHA! Funny,” I stopped the conversation.

“Here is you’re order, sir” the flight attendant came and I stretched my neck to look. I saw a piece of paper and I’m sure that’s her number. I can’t believe she really gave him her number! Jin opened the piece of paper and I gave off a laugh finding out the content of that piece of paper. Oh my God! This is unbelievable.

“What?” he read the paper written on it is fuck you. Oh my God! First time in history a woman totally gave him a bad trip. He threw the paper and sipped he’s coffee hastily and pukes it out.

“Hot!” he touched he’s tongue and I laughed so hard then stopped to slyly take Jin’s chocolate cake and ate it.

“Hey! That’s mine!” he caught me.

“It’s mine now,” I grinned and he sighed.

“Best trip ever!” he said sarcastically and I laughed even more.

Night finally falls and we finally reached Amsterdam of Europe. We went out of the plane and went in the airport. We inquired one of the lady front desks which hotel we could go in Amsterdam. She told us to go to the Crowne Plaza City Centre hotel and so we went out of the airport and called a hired cab. We told the driver to take us to the hotel and had our sit inside. I can see Jin feeling tired and I am too. I lie my head on he’s shoulder and just slept.

A few dreamless sleeps later, the car stopped and I woke up as I heard Jin calling my name. He paid the hired cab and we took our luggage and went inside the hotel. We checked in and the bellman took our luggage as he led us to our room. As we reach to our room, we went inside and I fell in love with the creamy paint on the walls and the shiny marbled tiles on the floor. The bellman went out as Jin gave him a tip and I jumped on the white clothed bed feeling tired from the long flight. I felt a little bit Jet lagged.

“Hey! Jin,” I called.

“Yeah?” he responded to my call as he lies beside me.

“Let’s go to the museum tomorrow!” I asked him.

“Okay! But for now, I’m a bit tired so let’s go to sleep?” He said and I nodded in approval.

A few seconds, we fell asleep and waited for tomorrow.
