Falling for my best friend

As I woke up, I saw Jin beside me. As usual, I’m still the one who wakes up first. I stood up and went inside the bathroom to brush my teeth and wash my face. I went out of the bathroom and then suddenly a knock came from outside of the room.

“Yes?” I called and then there came a sudden flash of lights as I opened the door, making me close it immediately. Was that the paparazzi? How did they know where I’m staying?

“Jin!” I called as I wagged him to wake up.

“What?” He asked sitting up with his bed hair and with his eyes half open. Then a knock came again that made him look at the door and then looked at me.

“I think opening the door is not a great idea.”  I said but he went to the door and opened it and again flashes of lights from the camera came that made him close the door quickly.

“Change your clothes,” he ordered as he faced me while pointing his fingers at me and in an instant, I nodded quickly and changed clothes. I am wearing a black tank top and a black pair of jeans matching up with black pumps.

“Why are you wearing pumps?” He asked me.

“I still have to look good while escaping!” I explained but he threw me a white pair of rubber shoes so I have no choice but to wear the rubbers. He is wearing a black shirt and a pair of black jeans also paired up with a pair of white rubber shoes. He looked at me and took a black jacket making me war it and again placed a cap on top of my head. Well, I can’t say no to this since we really should hide ourselves. He also took another black jacket and wore it on him and then placed a cap on top of his head too.

“Are you ready?” He asked me and I nodded. Jin grabbed my hand and opened the door as quickly as possible then flashes of lights came and then Jin gripped on my hand more as the both of us ran out of the hotel. The paparazzi followed us but it’s a good thing that we lost them.

            The both of us stopped and huff a breath as we reached far enough to lose the reporters and paparazzi. I looked at Jin and then he looked at me. It was silent for a moment when suddenly he laughed that made me laugh at the situation too and all of a sudden, a drop of water gem touched my cheeks. I looked up and it’s starting to rain. The both of us ran to find somewhere safe to keep us warm but the only place we saw is a house for newly wed couples.

“Are you sure about this?” Jin asked me.

“Of course, it’s not like we’re going to do it or anything,” I responded his question looking at him with wrinkled brows. I knocked the door and then an old woman opened up the door and smiled.

“Darling, we have guests.” The old lady called her husband who walked close to greet us.

“What a beautiful couple.” The old guy complimented with a smile.

“Thank you, actually we only had our wedding yesterday.” I reacted while I touched my left hand on Jin’s chest. Huh? What is this? Is his heart beating fast? I looked at Jin he just looked at me awkwardly and then placed his left arm around my shoulders and smiled at the old couple in front of us.

“Please, come in.” The old lady said letting us come inside the house.

“Darling, please lead them to their room.” The old day told her husband and so her husband did what she told him and led us upstairs to our room and left the both of us as he went back downstairs. I looked outside the window and saw that the rain is pouring very heavily already then I heard a sudden sneeze from Jin. He must have caught a cold.

“You should take a bath,” I told him.

“I don’t want to,” he responded and sat on the couch.
