Forbidden Love

Chapter 4

The door slammed open and i saw Lincoln With a gun. He turned on the light and saw that no one was there. "Whats wrong Liv? Who was here?"asked Lincoln in a terrified way.

But i was starring at the blank wall where those men were standing. I just couldn't reply, i couldn't speak. It was like i was paralyzed.

Lincoln sat beside me on the bed and asked me again what i saw. I turned around and looked into Lincoln's eyes and said,"Lincoln! There were two observers in my room all dressed it black. And they told me something."i said as tears ran down my cheek.

"What were they saying?"said Lincoln feeling curious.

"They said....That they have seen all possible futures but in all of them one of us had to die."i said as tears ran down my cheeks even faster.

Lincoln hugged me and said,"Dont worry Liv everything is gonna be fine. Ill always be with you."

And it was this line Lincoln said which made me realize that with him i would always be safe.

The next morning Lincoln and I went to Charlie's lab.

"Good Morning! Do you want to eat blueberry pancakes?"said Charlie as he was making pancakes on the bunsen burner.

"Umm no thank you? Where's Peter?"i asked.

"He's in the office at the back!"said Charlie.

As Lincoln and i went into the office which was actually a room with only a wooden bookshelf and a wooden desk with old creaky chairs.

"Hey Olivia and Lincoln!"said Peter.

"Hi!"i said as i started to blush when i saw him in his deep blue polo neck shirt and trousers and his chocolate brown hair combed back.

"This is Agent Lee!"said Lincoln as he answered the call."Ill be there Sir!"

"It was Broyels he said that he wanted to see me."

"Sure! I'll be here in the lab."i said as i looked at Peter who gave me a warm smile.

"So any latest news about the woman?"i asked.

"Ummm yeah remember we said that Mrs. John was dosing herself?"

"Yeah"

"Well Walter found out that it was true. She was using an anti-aging chemical which kept her younger and so made her immortal. But we donot know who is making people do this?"

"Yeah wait a second. Dunham"i said as i received Lincoln's call.

"Broyels just told me that Agent Murphy was outside Mrs.johns apartment when he saw her entering the apartment. But he said that she looked even more younger. Now she is in her apartment. Agent Murphy is there so im gonna meet you there."

"Thats great!"i said. "Ill be right there"

"Im going to Mrs. Johns apartment do you wanna come with me."

"Sure i would love to."he said as he grabbed his coat and walked towards the door.

"Mrs Johns can you tell me who asked you to take these medications." I said as i sat beside Lincoln with a beautiful, young girl sitting in front of us who seemed as if she hadn't even aged a day.

At first she hesitated and didn't answer. The pressure on her was too much so she finally told us that a scientist named William Bell had made this long ago. And she used these because William Bell was her father and he didnt want his daughter to die so he told her that she could live forever if she toke the injections. And she wanted it desperately because she had cancer and she would have died soon. After All it was not such a bad thing but it may have some bad side effects.

"You know Lincoln! I saw the joy and happiness in Mrs. Johns eyes because she was given a chance to live......"and i stopped as i starred at the empty roads as we passed by.

"What?"said Lincoln.

"Nothing... I was reminded of what the observers had said that one of us had to die. I mean we wont have a..... Chance to live again."i said with a deep sigh.

"Liv we shouldn't worry about the future now we should enjoy what we have."

"You sure you'll be safe alone."said Lincoln as he dropped me at my apartment.

"Yeah. Don't worry Lincoln. If something happens ill tell you. And thank you for everything."

"No problem Liv" he said with a smile and he drove of.

"Who is it?"i said as i heard a knock on my door.

"Olivia its me. Peter!"

I opened the door and saw him standing with a bouquet of roses.

"Come in. What are the roses for?"

"For our first case solved together!" he said handing the roses to me.

"Thankx!"

"Liv all my life i was thinking about you but i didn't know where you were. And now that i have finally met you after so long i feel like my long lost soul has come back."

I blushed when he said this.

After a long pause he said holding my hands,"I love you Liv!"

The moment i heard him say this my blood started rushing to my head like an upside down waterfall and my heart was pounding fastely.

But i finally managed to say something.

"I love you too."i said as i hugged him and he planted a kiss on my forehead.

This was the begging of a new chapter
