Hey guys! I made an update for you :)

Requested by NightMareKane. Thanks for the request! (Don't know if this is what you were looking for, but I tried)

"Max...w-why is the door locked?" Seananners stammered, trying the doorknob again, only to realize that it was, in fact, very locked. Max took a deep breath, trying to calm himself down.

"Adam, I'm sure that it's nothing." The sound of a gun going off followed by a scream were heard in the distance, making Nanner's head snap towards the source. Max gulped a little. "Yeah...nothing."

Adam and Max decided to wander the halls and try to find another exit other than the front door. The manor they were trapped in was unnecessarily large, so they made no contact with any of the other people trapped in the building, until they turned the corner.

In front of them was a person standing and pointing a gun at a person on the floor who was trying to back away from them.

"PLEASE! YOU HAVE THE WRONG PERSON! IT ISN'T ME! I SWEAR!" The person on the floor was full-out panicking now, crawling over to Adam and Max. "YOU NEED TO HELP ME! HE'S GOING TO KILL ME!" The person with the gun set their jaw and pulled the trigger once, allowing a bullet to quickly end the other's life. Max and Adam just stood there, staring at the person on the floor who's blood they were now standing in. Adam's eyes filled with rage.

"WHY DID YOU DO THAT?" He yelled, going over to the person still holding the gun and grabbing them by the collar of their shirt, slamming them against the wall. "WHY?" The person dropped the gun, and Max quickly picked it up and pointed it at the pinned person. The person sighed.

"Look, I bet that you guys have realized that we're trapped in here, but probably don't know the reasoning behind it. They're going to kill us." They saw the looks of confusion on Max's and Adam's faces. They sighed. "The murderer. This has happened many times before, they make it into a game and give the people they have trapped a gun and if they kill the murderer, they get to live and escape. However, the murderer so far has killed everybody that they have put into this stupid game." Max and Nanners exchanged glances.

"Well than how do you know about their motives?" Max asked, retightening the grip on his pistol. The person sighed again, then took out a piece of paper from his pocket and showed Max, who reached into his own pocket and found another one in his. "O-Oh." It had basically the same thing written on it as the person said. Said person sighed.

"My name is Anthony by the way, like it'd matter." He mumbled, pushing Adam off of him. Max gave him a nod and lowered his weapon, much to Adam's dismay. Adam gestured for him to shoot Anthony, but Max didn't obey.

The trio went upstairs, Max still with the gun. He had offered it to Adam, but Adam turned it down not-so-politely. Anthony refused to take it as well, because he just murdered an innocent person with it. Adam sighed.

"Anthony, Max, we should split up and look for other survivors. Maybe there is another gun." Anthony shook his head.

"That's retarded. The murderer will just pick us off easier. And what if there's no other gun? What if there's no other survivors?" He asked. Adam gave him a sideways look.

In the end, Anthony and Adam went together while Max went alone to look for others. They thought that there would be some safety in numbers, and Max had the gun to defend himself with.

Max wandered the gloomy halls, stopping in each room and shuddering when he came across a dead body every-so-often. He had no idea how many people were originally put into the house, but he knew that the bystanders' numbers were dwindling. Which made him think about Adam. He was all alone with Anthony, who Max knew wasn't the murderer, but it made him wonder...

Why were there so many dead bodies in the general area that Max knew Adam was in the beginning, before they met up? Why did he refuse the gun? Why did he spend so much time out of town when he tried to get together with him? There were so many questions that he couldn't answer, or maybe just didn't want the answer to. His self-depressed thoughts were broken when he heard a shriek.

"MAX! IT'S HIM! YOU NEED TO KILL HIM!" Anthony screamed from the direction of the great room. Max made a beeline for that direction, knowing that Adam was with him, and that he could be in trouble as well.

He burst through the door, gun readied to fire. Anthony lay on the ground with blood flowing from multiple slash wounds in his body, obviously dead. But what shocked him the most was the person standing over the carcass, holding a bloody knife and breathing hard, not caring that Max was in the doorway. Adam.

Max approached Adam slowly, both hands still on the pistol with a finger on the trigger. Adam rolled his head up to look at him, and smiled sadly.

"So it has come to this, hm?" He mumbled, wiping Anthony's blood off of his blade with his shirt, staining it. Max said nothing, only looked at him with a cold look before tightening his grip on the gun and pointing it at Adam's head.

"Why are you doing this Adam? Why did you pretend to be my friend and trap me in this-this deathtrap? Why did you put all the others in here!? " He spat, not lowering his deadlock. Adam sighed.

"It-it's-" He started.

"WHAT?!" Max hollered, finger twitching impatiently on the trigger. Adam flinched.

"It's because I care too much about you, okay? I didn't want you to get in the way of things, or to be convicted as well." Max was stunned, too stunned to say anything. "So I thought that this would be the best way for you to go out...by my hand, with me." Max shook his head sadly.

"You're psychotic." He muttered, making Adam tear up.

Before Max could react, Adam rushed up to him and gave him a hug, slipping the knife effortlessly into his skull. He lowered Max down gently to the ground, still embracing his body with tears running down his face. He gently kissed the corpse's cheek before calling the police.

"Hello? This is Adam Montoya. Yeah, I'd like to report a murder." He said nothing more, just simply hung up and quickly ran out of the manor.

Don't forget to comment and all that good stuff.
