I woke up this morning and got ready to take Joel to the airport, he had quire an early flight but it wasn't too bad. As I was getting I was scrolling through Instagram and I saw a post on Kitty's story saying she had arrived in Italy.

I just continued to get ready and just threw on a casual outfit and some light makeup and then left the bedroom.

I walked out the bedroom and saw Joel dragging his bags towards the front door.
"Hey, you alright?" I asked
"Yeah, Im good" He replied
I went into the kitchen and grabbed some food and a coffee and then sat in the living room with Joel for a while before we got ready to leave.
"Right you got everything?" I asked him as I got up from the sofa
"Yeah I think so" He said looking round the room
We got up and I walked towards the door, I grabbed one of Joel's bags so that I could take it to the car.
"Ellen?" Joel said sounding like a question
"Yeah?" I said looking confused
"Are you gonna be alright?" He asked
"What do you mean?" I asked back
"I mean on your own in the apartment" He said
"Yeah, I will be fine, Logan upstairs and the boys are only round the corner, I'm hardly alone" I replied giving him a reassuring smile
"Ok then, if you're sure" he said
"Ill be fine" I said walking towards the car
I put Joel's bags in the car and then I drove him to the airport. When we arrived I helped him get his bags out and then waved him off into the airport. It was gonna be weird not having anyone in the apartment with me but I was just gonna have to get used to it because god knows how long kitty is gonna stat at the boys house.
