We arrived at Toronto airport. As soon as I got off the plane it was freezing, this Canadian air bites not like New York where it's really warm most of the time because of the car fumes but I've got to admit, it's actually nice to smell some proper air for once.
We got out to the front of the airport and saw a short blonde lady wearing round pink glasses holding up a sign saying camp Canada, we walked over and approached her.
"Hi urm, is this for the summer cam-"
I said, she stopped me.
"Yes young lady, under 12's on the green bus, over 12's on the yellow, go on hurry up we haven't got all day" she explained, I hugged the girls and we went our separate ways. I dropped my suitcase and a man put it In the bottom, I then went in the bus and took A seat at the back, a load of other kids came In the bus. As I was looking around at the kids sitting down I saw the boy who I crashed into at NY airport, I really hoped I wouldn't see him again as I was embarrassed. He glared at me and I looked down and pretended I didn't see him. 'Uh oh he spotted me' I thought, he strutted over and took a seat in front of me, he tilted his head round and smiled, I looked up at his sparkly green eyes and cheesy grin I've got to admit he was the cutest most hottest boy I've ever seen.
"Hello again, didn't think I would see you again" he said biting his lip and looking at me up and down. I don't know why he was so attracted to me, I wasn't wearing anything attractive just a white vest top, grey jeans, green hoodie and green pumps with my hair tied back.
"So what's your name, a pretty girl like you must have a name" he said I blushed and smiled.
"Anna what's yours" I stuttered.
"Calum" he said shaking my hand.
We spent most of the journey talking to each other, he's a really interesting guy, And hot!!
After 2 hours we arrived into a lake district, I got my suitcase and dragged it and followed the other kids to the camp.
"Welcome to camp Canada, girls huts are on the right, boys on the left, go and pick one two and no more In each hut and then you meet us down by the lake in two hours" this old lady said.
"I'll see you later" calum said rubbing my back, I smiled at him and he did back. I dragged my suitcase to a cabin to find this girl In there sitting on the top bunk.
"Do you mind if I bunk with you" I asked
"Not at all, I'm carla" she greeted me
"Anna" I said looking around, the hut it was small but big enough for two.
"So where do you come from?" she asked
"New York, I live with my mum and my two little sisters and my awful step dad" I explained
"Oh wow New York, your so lucky, I just live with my mum and dad in Washington, do you get to see your real dad" she asked, my heart dropped when she asked.
"He he he, died 13 years ago" I stuttered
"Oh my god I'm such an idiot, I'm sorry, have I upset you?" she asked
"No no, Carla you haven't, we should get to the lake" i said, I put some blue shorts and a pair of black trainers. I walked down and stood by a group of girls and tries to socialise but they didn't seem interested.
"Everyone gather round" the camp leader shouted, I jumped in shock.
"We're going to take a tour of the camp, follow me" she shouted, once again I jumped. I started to speed walk as they were walking very quickly along the lake. About five minuets later I felt a sweaty hand on my shoulder, i looked behind and saw calum grinning at me, I looked back at him and smiled widely.
"Hi, so you mind if I walk with you" he asked, I smiled again and nodded.
The camp leader showed us everything in the camp and talked us about the activities that we were going to be doing, kicking, canoeing, fencing and loads more. When we finished the tour I quickly ran back to the hut and took some clothes a towel and a toiletry bag and went to the showers to have a wash, when I got I there I saw a group of girls stood in a group chatting, it was really steamy in there and hot. I put my stuff on a chair and waited Til a shower was free. After five minuets a girl came rushing in and bumped into me.
"Oh sorry" she muttered, I looked at her and sighed.
"It's okay" I replied, she looked quite fashionable with black jeans and a pink crop to on and white flat dolly shoes.
A cubicle became free and I quickly ran in and had a nice hot shower.
After 20 minutes I started to walk back to my hut. When I got back, I put some denim shorts on a stripy vest on with a navy blue hoody and some blue vans. Me and Carla walked to the cafeteria to have some dinner. It was alright but to be honest but it was a bit like prison food, not that I've been to prison!
After I walked back to hut and did my hair and put a bit of makeup on for the welcome party in by the lake, I put some hoop earrings on and walked outside to find calum sat on a bench with some ginger kid holdings a basketball, I stood for a bit until Calum turned round and spotted me.
He walked over to me and put his hand round me, I bushed 'stop blushing you idiot' I thought to myself.
"Hey, do you wanna come for a walk" he asked, we walked along the lake and then sat on a bank when we found ourselves outside the camp. I stared out at the lake, it was beautiful, we watched the sun go down, I smiled thinking how beautiful this place was, I can't believe I didn't want to come here! calum put his hand on my waist and started to slide it down my leg, I quickly shoved it away. He looked a bit annoyed when I moved his hand away.
After and hour we walked back to camp, when we got back we realised we missed the disco so he walked back to my hut.
"Good night" he said tensing his arms and moving in to kiss my cheeks, I walked into the hut and saw Carla in bed reading a book.
"oh so now you decide to show" she snapped at me.
"Sorry I went for a walk, night" I replied slipping my pyjamas on. I got into bed and it was the hardest bed I've ever lied on.
