that the universe will end
in exactly
five billion years
the planets
the stars
and all the people
will cease to exist
isn't it a funny thought?
we've had
kings
queens
peasants
presidents
scientists
engineers
singers
dancers
we've had so many people
who both
saved the earth
and
condemned it
we built
statues
buildings
monuments
cities
gardens
civilizations
we built and built
for fourteen billion years
and in five billion years
we will build no more
