' You don't need to come.',Daniel was shouting at Paul.

'To hell with your commands. I might be your cousin but you can't rule me.'Paul said clicking in his seat belt.

We were about to fly to enemy's den and I was trying very hard not to go into panic mode.
Whenever I would look out of the window of the jet aeroplane , images from last night would flood my mind.
Heavy waves crushing me down. Daniel lost in the water.

I shook my head to repel images from last night and Daniel's hand came easily around my waist to comfort me.
He gave me a knowing look.

He understood me.
Today everything was at a stake.

Daniel, Samantha, Paul. Everyone.
Samantha was not ready to leave Paul alone.
I and Daniel had tried everything to convince her to stay back after Paul's efforts had failed.

'Where to?',I asked Daniel in the best casual voice I had but it all came out as a squeak.

'London.',he said with a heavy sigh.

'I am going to London but never in my life did I imagine it would be like this.' ..to risk the lives of my loved ones. I continued mentally.

I did not want Daniel to think that I was scared because he was waiting for one reason to gladly kick me out of this plane. Safe he would say.

But I could not stay away from him, worried , not knowing what was going on.
Even Daniel was not safe because she didn't care about anyone as long as she got what she wanted. She was a pychopath.

She had tried to blast his car.

Nobody has forgotten that.

Every second felt like a torture not knowing what was going to happen. I knew I was very enthusiastic in the beginning but when the real impact of it hit me that any one of us might not return back , my mood became very heavy and grave.

We landed in a private airport in London and were immediately whisked in a car.
Daniel looked sufficiently upset to have me around that time.
'So the plan is...',Daniel started while we all gathered in the car listening intently.

'She is probably waiting for us in 'The Terminal'. Its a seven star. But the bad news is that its her own so she has a upper hand there. I have informed everything to the Chief Police officer of the area and they are with us. The only problem is that we need to record evidence or they won't take action against her and we cannot afford to let her off this time.

'I and Amanda will go in to her and you both are going to be back ups. I have a camera inserted right here.',he said pointing to his shirt.
'We are going to get her talking and leave. As soon as possible. In case we cannot come out you both are going to bring the force to us in an hour. Are we on the same page?'

'Yes', we all said together.

My heart was pumping extra fast. Daniel made me chew an energy bar just to keep me going.
I took it because all that anxiousness was draining my limited source of energy.
I could faint just thinking about it.

When The Terminal came into view Daniel brought out a pair of handcuffs.
'Chain me to you.',I attempted a pathetic joke but that made him laugh.
'To my heart.',he smiled sadly.

'There are two pair of keys, one with me and one with Samantha. You have nothing to worry about.',Daniel said as carresed my cheek, looking so lost and alert on the same time.

We walked into the conditioning of the hotel to find it utterly empty except for guards. Her guards.
They came up to us and one of the bulkier guard scanned us for guns.

He led us to the lift and two more guards got in with us.

Daniel looked at me with so much worry and love that I was about to have a nervous break down right then in the lift.

I felt a serious tug at my heart. It had been months with him but he never failed to look at me the way he looked at me the day we dashed into each other's life literally.
With so much love and concern as if I was his most precious of all the things and he might just trade the whole world for me.

I had an urge to squeeze his hand and assure him that it was going to be all right. But even when everything was all planned I knew there was one hundred percent chance of everything going all wrong.

And moreover Carolina must surely be watching us through CCTV in the lifts.

So I stared back at him and watched his blue eyes melt into sly tears that he was very fiercely trying to hold back.

He should not have to cry.
I really wish I could smack Carolina straight into her nose.

My poor Daniel.

He cleared his throat when the lift stopped and gave me a last ,long look.

I smiled at him. Maybe this could be the last time.
I gulped at this thought.

I was pushed out of the elevator after Daniel walked out.
They had clearly been instructed.
Daniel gritted his teeth and glared at the guards.

His eyes turned wistful and were filled with anger in the next second.

The guards got scared of his expression and lifted their hands of me.

There was a straight lobby out in front of us and a door kept open.
Carolina was waiting for us.

When I looked at Daniel , his whole demeanour looked different. He looked alert. He looked ready.
