I walk into the academy but hear nothing. Looking around I start to wonder if Dads not the only one dead.
"Pogo?" I screamed, "Mom?....... ANYBODY?"
Suddenly I hear paws on the stairs, looking up I see Pogo hurrying towards me. "Mrs. Emily! It's been ages. How have you been?" He asked reaching for a hug.
I bent down and hugged him back, "I've been o.k. I missed you so much Pogo."
"As have I, child. Come let's get some lunch while we wait for your siblings to arrive. Grace cooked up a wonderful roast for the night."
Nodding, I followed Pogo to the kitchen table.
Grace is standing by the oven making some sides when she heard Pogo and I sit at the table. Turning she grins and grabs some plates to bring to the table.
I spend the next hour or so catching up with Pogo and Grace. Talking about my adventures and listening to the stories they had of the family since I left.
"Do you think the others are going to show up?" I asked Pogo.
"They should but you know your siblings. We will just have to wait and see..."
