I was at the table talking to Grace and Pogo when suddenly I heard a crash coming from Reginald's study. Jumping up and rushing towards the room, Pogo followed.
Coming to the door I peer inside and find Klause rummaging through his dad's things. My breath caught in my throat. My entire body ignighted in adrenaline and desire. I heard him muttering about money. He looked rough, skinny, pale and almost sickly.
"Klaus?" I asked/muttered.
His head whipped around so fast and our eyes lock. A thousand emotions run through me while my legs felt like they would give out. God I missed those beautiful green eyes.
"Emily is that you? Are you dead too? Must be, you said ud never come back!"
"I came back to bury dear old Reggie."
"Oh, is that all?"
Rolling my eyes I turn to leave. Walking over to the staircase I sit down on the step and put my head in my hands.
