[HARIN'S POV]

WHY: THE TALK

"The three of us need to talk. Now."

Lucas and I looked at each other, both of us unaware of the problem but followed anyway.

After we arrived at his office, Taeyong locked the door while Lucas and I sat on the mini sofa. Lucas clasped his hands, "So, did we do anything? ... Or do you need something?"

Taeyong ignored his question and looked at me, "Do you remember the mission regarding Taeyeon?"

Both of us nodded, "Yeah, what about it?"

"After her severe punishment from Red Velvet, she chose to submit to them so now she's under their command. She, along with Yoona, Sooyoung, Chanyeol and Sehun, reported something to Seulgi this morning. They went to deal drugs last night at a bar far from town and they met Henry, a Super Junior member. Henry likes Yoona, one of the reasons your brother is dead. Yoona was in a relationship with Minho, just before everyone learned that he was the traitor. Anyway, so they- well they said it was mostly Henry but yeah, he told Yoona some of the targets he, Heechul and Shindong want to kill. They were already planning something so it'll only take a few more days before they execute it. To be brief, they found you Harin, and wants to kill you. Also, Lucas, Jungwoo and Yuta are also targets.

Now, Irene informed me first of this and wants to know your decision."

I shrugged, "What do you want me to do?"

Taeyong and Lucas gave each other hard stares. Few seconds later, Lucas shook his head and mumbled a couple of no's.

"What? What is it?" I asked.

"She's not going to be bait Lucas. What the hell were you thinking?! There's this recruitment in China that I put Kun in-charge of with Lucas, Winwin and Ten's help and so far he has recruited 3 already. Now, I'm giving you a chance to answer, would you stay here or live a new life and be safe in China? Your choice....You do want to live a new life right? Because if I were to make a decision I would gladly help you to start over again."

"The only people who would know about this would be me, you, Lucas, Winwin, Kun, Ten and the three new recruits. Key would know about this sooner or later but, I know he'd only be concerned about your safety and happiness so I think its okay. You would disappear Harin, no one should know you're alive." Taeyong continued.

I sighed and stared at him "I can't even say goodbye?"

"No. Goodbyes are the one of the most painful things to say and I don't want them to be sad over something like that. We are in a gang, we need to be tough and only think of how we'd survive. You've grown too close with some of them and I don't think Jaehyun would've liked this plan." I furrowed my eyebrows.

"Jaehyun? Why?" I asked again.

Lucas grunted, "You are either stupid enough to not know that he likes you, or he's the one not doing anything to let you know that he likes you. Look, Jaehyun doesn't really talk to people that much, particularly to girls. That's why we knew exactly what he was feeling. He also doesn't stare at someone when eating and he clearly does everytime when we eat in the morning."

" Also, Harin, I'd like you to go. We talked about this before and, well, it is still not too late for you like I said." Lucas smiled at me.

I smiled, "Well then, I'll go. Thank you. But first, how can I go when Doyoung has his eyes everywhere?"

Taeyong smirked, "Leave that to me."

HOW: THE PLAN

We were talking about the plan when the others came in. Ten gave a smile while Kun and Winwin nodded at me. The six of us were here to talk about the plan before Taeyong calls Irene, Taeyong and Lucas already briefed them about my decision and they said they weren't going to miss me since they're always going to be in China to which I laughed. He said that he will make Sehun tell Johnny that Jungwoo, Lucas, Yuta and I were targets of the three SJ members. Lucas, Kun and Ten were supposed to be going on a plane later to China but they'll go into hiding instead and wait for the recruits to arrive tomorrow morning.

"After Johnny informs me, I'll call a meeting tomorrow morning and tell the whole gang that you are targets blah blah. Just leave it to me. Then,-" Taeyong's phone suddenly rang and he answered the call.

"Irene, I was about to call yo- Huh?.....Right, I'll tell them." He ended the call and shut his phone.

"Slight irritation to our plans. Don't trust Yoona, Irene said she was seen by Chanyeol and Seulgi talking to Heechul and Henry then gave her a gun. She can't fire a gun since she only knows how to use her looks, won't exactly be a problem. Back to what I was saying, so later tomorrow Winwin will be in this house to look out for Harin. They'll come tomorow for sure, so be ready." Taeyong called my name.

"Yeah?"

"You won't be voluntarily kidnapped okay? Winwin will put on a show, and if you guys would crash with the others then he knows what to do to minimize the wounds. Harin, just trust us and don't worry about anything. You know the plan, just wait for Lucas and if Yoona shows up then its a much better escape for you. The both of you have somehow the same body structure so if she'll be killed then that's more of an advantage for us."

They were still talking when I went out of the office. I walked back to my room and laid on my bed then decided to sleep. Trust, yes, I should trust them.

WHEN: THE ESCAPE

"Yoona! I'm from NCT, my name's Lucas." Lucas looked like he surrendered, putting both his hands in the air.

Yoona breathed out, "Oh my, thank god you're here! I thought they were going to die!"

I frantically looked at Lucas, he wasn't holding a gun or anything in this case. But then I guess someone from the new recruits are backing him up. Yoona backed away from us as Lucas tries to untie me. She was still holding the gun.

Lucas removed the tape from my mouth. Yoona suddenly laughed then pointed her gun at us. "Really. You are so stupid. How can you trust someone with a gun?! All of you are gonna die today." She continued laughing but stopped when Lucas also started laughing.

"What- Why are you laughing?!" Yoona screamed. I finally got to untie myself and Jaehyun while Lucas walked towards Yoona. I knelt down, wincing, to tend to Jaehyun's head.

"Stay back! I have a gun! I can kill you!" Yoona was still pointing the gun at us.

Lucas stopped laughing, wiping a fake tear from his eyes. "I'm not really one to hurt women but someone is. Shoot the leg."

As l laid Jaehyun's head on my lap, a gunshot was heard and Yoona shrieked. Her leg was bleeding and she dropped her gun. Tears were falling from her face while she was pressing her hands on the wound. Lucas picked up the gun.

"This is my first time shooting someone so, good luck to me. Harin, don't look."

"Do you really hav-"

"Yes, I do. We don't need any witnesses and Jaehyun's being a baggage today." I looked away and flinched when another gunshot was heard.

I gulped and tried to stand up. "We need to hurry up. This building is going to blow in a minute that's why we need to get out fast."

I panicked, "Wha- What about Jaehyun?"

"Don't worry about him. We'll meet Taeyong below and he'll be the one to explain to everyon- Let's just go okay? Stop asking and trust us." I nodded at him. I followed him and avoided looking at Yoona's body. Lucas was carrying Jaehyun behind his back while we walked down the stairs.

We met Taeyong along the way and then part ways after they talked briefly. I took one last look at Jaehyun being carried by Taeyong. Goodbye Jaehyun.
