Later that day at Crystal's house:
"Hey Mom, yes I had a good day at school, no I don't have homework I'm going up to my room."
"Ok then..."
I opened my room door and set down my stuff on my desk and took out my book that I got from the library and I sat on my bed. But just before I could start reading it I got a phone call from Chris.
"Hello?"
"Hey Crystal"
"Oh hey Chris"
"Hey I just wanted to say i'm sorry I left the table at lunch like that."
"Yea I thought you didn't want to eat lunch with us or you were mad at me."
"No it's just..."
I layed down on my bed and looked up at my sparkling ceiling.
"It's just what Chris?"
"I like someone that I was going to be eating lunch with."
"Oh yea April is pretty isn't she?"
"Crystal it's not April."
"Wha what?"
I started smiling once he said that but how could he like someone he just met?
"Crystal I like you."
After he said that I froze then I quickly hung up the phone and ran out of my door then I went out the front door and ran towards the beach. The whole way there I was smiling when I reached the water I dived in and swam to the cove.
Chris's P.O.V
Why did she just hang up? I locked my phone and set it down on my desk then I heard a knock on my door.
"What mom?"
"I just wanted to tell you dinner was ready."
"Nah I'll pass i'm not that hungry."
"Are you sure?"
"Yes mom. Can I go over to a friend's house?"
"Sure take your phone and I'll call you when you need to come back."
"Ok"
I grabbed my phone and went downstairs and out my front door to go to my friend Ryan's house.
April's P.O.V
I had just finished my homework and I went over to my bed and grabbed my phone from my nightstand. I saw I had some texts from other people then a couple from Crystal. I unlocked my phone and went into messages and texted her back.
"Hey sorry I didn't text you back I was doing my homework"
I hit sent and I waiting a couple of minutes for her to reply she usually replys in the first 2 minutes when I send it. Maybe shes busy. I set my phone down on my bed and opened my door to see Crystal.
