Josh's Pov:

I came home in a horrible mood like usual.

My dad just won't stop pestering me about college and the family company.

I walk into me and Alice's apartment.

Damn I love her.I mean I take my anger out on her but I do love her.

"Alice! Hey you come here." I growl

But all I hear is a whimpering whine from the bedroom I walk in and see our grayhound 'Alpha' laying on the bed head on paws whinning.

I look on the bed and find a note.

Hey Josh.

I am so sorry but I can't do this anymore. My dad starting asking questions and said I had to leave.

No matter what I do love you but this is just toxic.

Bye
   ~your now ex - Alice

I crumble the note and throw it on the ground.

Alpha immediately running away.

I trash the room.

Ripping the curtains.

I overturned everything.

I ripped the bed and lot it on fire.

I walk out grabbing a leash and walking alpha to the door.

She left you. Your so stupid. You took her for granted.this is your fault your just a mess up!

My subconscious told me.

I left Alpha at my dad's and went to the closet bar.

"Two shots! And keep them coming" I tell the bartender.

He nodded and gave me the shots.

After my 10th shot a brunnet sat next to me.

"Hey ,sexy, you looking for a good time?" She purred.

I shrugged why not? It's not like I have a girlfriend to go home to anymore.

I grab the brunnet throwing a twenty on the bar.

That night I have the brunnet what she wanted but somehow I still felt hollow.

If I knew what happened at the apartment that night I would've gone home.

The next morning:

I walked into my apartment and smelled a familiar fragrance.

"Alice!" I yelled running into the kitchen and saw her standing there making toast.

"Hello Josh. Don't worry I am just here to collect Alpha." She said

"I would've done it earlier but he's not here! Where's MY dog?" she said calmly.

"At my dad's" I answered

"Good. I'll go get him and be on my way"she said

"Alice wait" I said.

"What? Josh what?" She asked impatient

"I never thought you would leave"I said almost mubbleing.

"Then you should've thought harder" she said annoyed

"Please Alice I still love come back to me please" I plead

"Never" she spits vemon oozing out of her words.

With that she left. She left me alone with only a puff of her purfume and walked out.

I never saw her again untill about three years later which is where our story REALLY begins.
