It was two days before Harry's birthday party. We almost had everything in order. Molly was bring the food, I was making the cake. I had gotten in touch with Hermoine and her parents and invited them to come celebrate. Severus would not allow anyone else to come. Currently, I am working on his birthday cake. I decided to make it the muggle way, but after 3 bad attempts, I'm starting to regret my decision. "Why don't you just use a spell, Alexandria?" Severus asks me as he watches me throw away another cake, or what was suppose to be cake. Instead it looked like pudding that went sour. "Because Harry has never had a birthday cake and it would mean more if I took my time and made it the muggle way." I argued, mainly with my subconscious that is telling me to give up. "Hmm. Well would you like some help?" Severus offered. "Do you know how to bake a cake?" I stifled a laugh. "From what I can tell it is a lot like potions. The ingredients must be precise. The timing also needs to be spot on. I'm sure we can do it." Severus said as he started looking through the cookbook I had bought in a muggle store. "You know this is a really nice thing you are doing for Harry." I looked up at him and smiled. He sneered, "I am doing it for you. I cannot just sit here and watch you almost burn down our house." I stared at him for a moment. "Severus.... Do you mean that?" I asked him sincerely. "What that I don't want you burning down the house? Of course you dunderhead." He said oblivious to what I meant. "No, no. That this was our house? You've never said that before. I mean if it was an accident, I understand. I know it is your house and you're kind enough to let me live here-" Severus interrupted me with a kiss. Our lips danced for a minute before we parted. "Alexandria. This is our house. When I asked you to move in, I did it because I want to share a life with you. And that means this house, is our house." Severus gave me a smile and touched my cheek with his thumb.

"Okay, gross. I should've stayed at the Burrow." Harry interrupts us as he walks into the kitchen. "Harry! What are you doing home?" I give him a hug, he has been at the Weasley's for most of the time. Dropping in every few days. Tension between him and Severus hasn't let up any. "I wanted to come spend time with you. I'm showing the Weasley's kickball. I wanted to see if you wanted to join... and you too, Professor. Mr. Weasley really wants to catch up with you." Harry looked at Severus and Severus did not look amused. "We can't today Potter. We are going to one of my friends dinner party. Not that I would come anyways." Severus sneered at Harry. "Oh I forgot about that. Okay, can we come tomorrow?" I bend down and grab Harry's arm. "Yeah, I guess so. What if I need you?" He questions. "Well, we will be at the Malfoy's. So if you need me, for any reason what so ever, just floo over to Malfoy Manor. Okay?" I inform him. "The Malfoy's? I feel sorry for you." Harry chuckled at my torture. "Yeah well you keep that up, I'll drag you to the next one." I threaten him with a smile. "Oh no, I'm sure you'll have a lot of fun. I'll see you later. Love you. Uhm, bye Professor." Harry rushes to the fireplace and floos back over to the burrow. "I am not going to play kickball, what ever that may be." Severus says to me as I walk over to him. "You are still going. Rather you play or not." I tease him, caressing his neck with my fingers. "Only because of you. Are you sure Charlie will be able to handle seeing you with me? The greasy old bat?" He asked me as he wraps his arms around my waist. "I'm sure he will be fine. If not, he will throw a tantrum and leave. I just wish he would realize how much I love you." I kiss Severus on the cheek. "He will in his own time. Just like everyone else." Severus assured me. Charlie and I were the best of friends in school. I count on him for everything. "Okay well I'm going to go get dressed." I tell Severus before walking up the stairs to our bedroom.

I change into a dark red tight fitted gown that cam to my mid thigh. Being in a room full of Slytherins, I figured I should show off some of my house color, mainly to annoy Lucius with my bold colors. He hated it everytime I would come over in something flashy. I slide on my black heels and tie my hair in a loose, but managed bun. I walk down the stairs to find Severus in his good robes. "Well I see I'm not the only one who decided to dress up." I joke and Severus smirks. "You do look beautiful, Alex. You know just the right way to piss of Lucius." Severus grabs my hand and kisses it. "Shall we?" I ask him. "We shall." He says to me as he grabs some floo powder and floos over to the Malfoys. I do the same. As I walk out of their fireplace, the large common room invites me in. Their house was very breathtaking. Narcissa did a good job on the decor. But inside was cold. It didn't feel like a family home. They had house elves that did all of the cooking and cleaning. Narcissa cared for Draco, but Lucius was very stern and didn't give Draco the time of day most of the time. It made me really care about Draco, and I even invited him to stay with us sometime, when Harry wasn't there. Those two get along worse than Harry and Severus. I couldn't handle the 3 of them at one time.

"Oh Alexandria, how nice of you to come. And what a wonderful dress that it." Narcissa greets me with an open hug. "Yes well I know how much you guys love color." I said sarcastically, and Severus eyed me. I gave him a smile but his expression did not change. I knew that I needed to be on my best behavior. "Severus, right on time. We have much to discuss. Come." Lucius waves at Severus and I for us to come sit at the dining table. There were many other people, none that I really talked too, other than Bellatrix. She was a very strange lady. But she made it clear that she loved everything about me so far, so I made sure to keep on her good side. Severus told me how she tortured Neville's parents and now they are in St. Mungo's Hospital. I sat down next to Narcissa and Severus and Lucius began the meeting. "Today is a very important day. We must talk about our lord. Severus informed me that our Lord was at Hogwarts, on the back of a Professors head. However, that man was killed. Lord Voldemort escaped but we have no idea where he is. What we do know is he is out there. And we must be ready to serve him again. We have a new member. Alexandria Lovecrest, Severus's partner. She is willing and ready to give her life for our dark Lord. But.." Lucius looked at me. "She does not have the Dark Mark. We know Lord Voldemort will want her to have it. And I feel she should be branded now, as to prove herself instantly when he returns." He finished. I bit my lower lip and grabbed Severus' hand. "Now, Lucius. I know what you are saying, I completely agree. But she is also a professor, and a spy with me. Albus is not an idiot and he will wonder why she does not wear short sleeves during the spring and summer. I say we wait and see what Voldemort has to say. " Severus debated with Lucius. Lucius was quiet for a minute and finally nodded in agreement. "Well then, with that being said, why don't we eat? Elves!" Lucius yells and the house elves begin to bring out dinner. "May we invite Draco? I would love to catch up with him." I ask Lucius. He ponders for a minute, "I suppose. The boy does need to eat. DRACO!" Lucius yells for him and he instantly runs down the stairs and into the room. "Sit boy, it is time for dinner." Lucius tells him. Narcissa moved down a seat and let Draco sit next to me. "I didn't know you were coming tonight, Professor." Draco says to me as he sits down. "Draco you know outside of the classroom you can call me Alexandria. Or even Alex." I smile at him and give him a side hug. "I've been reading those books you gave me. They are really good. They are helping me understand charms a lot more." He informs me as he begins to eat. "Good. I was hoping they would help you. Have you asked about staying at our place sometime? Harry is mainly staying at the Weasley's, so don't you worry about him. I know you guys don't get along." I smiled at him. "Ah yes how is young Potter? Severus told me about you letting him stay with you. I can't believe you would let him stay with those poor excuse of purebloods Weasleys." Lucius intruded in our conversation. What he said pissed me off but I couldn't let him see that. "Yes well, it gets him out of our hair." I looked at him and smiled. I really did hate him. Narcissa I could stand, but dear merlin was he a bastard. "Well we should really get going. Lucius, it has been a pleasure as always." Severus stood up and I followed. We said our goodbyes, I gave Draco a hug and we went home.

"Tell me again why we have to go over there? I hate them more than you hate happiness." I asked Severus when we got in the comfort of our own home. "Yes well if we don't they would think something was up. We have to keep appearances. Especially with the Voldemort possibly on the rise again. We have to be ready, Alexandria.... That is why I think we should train. He will want you to prove you are strong enough to be in his following. You have to be willing to torture or even kill someone to prove your worth. Are you able to do that?" Severus asked me. "Yes. If it means keeping Harry safe. And keeping you with me I am 100% willing to do whatever I need to." I hugged him and he wrapped his arms around me. "I don't want anything to happen to you. I could not live with myself, Alexandria." He whispered into my ear. "Don't worry. We will be fine. Now let's go to bed." I say to him as I take his hand and lead him upstairs. Once upstairs we undress eachother and lay on the bed next to one another and we fall asleep into each others arms.
