We departed ways. My friends and I have already greeted each other for our morning routine—at our spot—before we decided that each individual have their own needs to bid to. Raelynn had something to do, along the lines of meeting Beckham; Naomi was going off to one of her morning clubs; and Aubree didn't say where she was heading off to.

As I adjust the tan blouse I sported, overlay with a plaid dress, I felt the back of my pocket vibrate.

I knew it was my phone, and took out the cellular device to find a contact name appearing green.

My brows furrowed at his sudden text message, and I type back my reply.

Lila:
was this a spontaneous thought or were you sitting on that

Kenji:

i was staring at my phone for a good ten minutes before texting you this

and i thought you said you were going to call more

Kenji:

do you want me to call you in the morning of the day where more than half of the student body can't stand to talk or communicate because it's so goddamn early?

Lila:

but why don't you want me to come to the soccer game?
