Vivid colors strike my eyes as soon as I enter the multicolored cafe. Art decorates the floors, walls, anything! It's so aesthetically pleasing that you have to like it even if the food is bad. "So have you been here before?" I question, happily enjoying the artsy dream in front of me.
"Nope," he shrugs, looking around just as surprised as me. "But I do really like it. It reminds me of you."
"Why? Is it because I'm the gayest person you know?" I question with a sly smile.
"Well that's not what I was thinking exactly, but yes." He chuckles along with me. "What I meant was that you're just so colorful and amazing to look at. Art that is appealing to the eye, but even more beautiful when you know the meaning and work behind the art." He says with a sweet smile.
"I've never been compared to art before, but thank you. I'm assuming the meaning and work behind the art was supposed to represent who I am on the inside."
"Yeah, was that not clear?" he question with a puppy dog face.
"Not exactly, but I got it." I tug at his cheek playfully. Why do we already act like that annoying in love couple when we're not even dating? Gays really do move fast.
The server comes up to us, but I'm too focused on Noah to turn around. "What would you like today?" The server asks us and suddenly I turn when I recognize the voice.
"Caspian?" I question with a completely shocked face, my jaw dropped and eyes open as wide as they can. "You work here?"
He smiles, flashing me his pearly whites. He's in a black uniform with a pink, blue, and yellow stripe that goes horizontally across his shirt with 'Seven Wonders' written in write above and below the stripe. He also has a black visor with the same colors in a stripe on it with 'Seven Wonders' written on the top part in white. "What's wrong with working here?"
"Nothing, it's just a little surprising. I didn't know all the jocks at my school were so gay. Trust me, I love this." I smile back. Caspian is such a sweetheart, and the only guy I could really talk to. Guys at my school never really wanted to talk to me because of how I was gay, but it never bothered me because one I had lots of female friends, and two I didn't necessarily want to talk to them either.
"You should've seen this coming. I mean I told you I loved your room. I think your room is better designed then this," Caspian compliments me, and I laugh as my cheeks flare up.
"Thank you, but I think this is much more impressive. I'm sorry my room must have reminded you of work." I cross my arms with the biggest smile on my face that I can't get rid of even if I tried to.
"Don't worry I like working, but I liked being in your room better. Now that I think about it, it's like Seven Wonders was made just for you. Are you sure you're not secretly the owner?" He asks with a raised eyebrow.
"I mean I would say I am, but that would mean I have a lot of money and unlike you, I don't." I say, also looking over to Noah, who gives me an awkward smile. Oh no, am I being rude by talking to Caspian? Dang it! I'm so bad at this.
"I work for my money! I just happened to get a car from my parents," he replies. I decided to try and end the conversation instead of continuing it in fear of being rude to Noah.
"Yeah must be nice, now shouldn't you be asking us for our orders? I'm hungry!" I smoothly end the conversation, but now I feel a little rude to Caspian. I might as well give up!
"Alright calm down!" He puts his hands out and I chuckle a bit.
"What do you want to get?" I ask, turning my attention to Noah.
