"Give it back, Anna!"
"No! You can't have it! You'll have to catch me first!" She yelled at me before running around the coffee table. She sped up as if she were taunting me, blurring as she used her super speed. She continued to run around the coffee table, trying to stop me.
"Stop!" I yell at her, raising my hand in the air to force her to stop. She did stop, looking down at her feet.
We're the Haddock's. Normal family... From Afar. Though, if you get close enough to our family, you'll start to see we're not as regular as we seem. Even though we live in an average subdivision, we are a family with superpowers. Our parents used to be Heroes of some kind, gifted with their powers, and because we are their kids, we were gifted with powers, too.
"Ice Blocks?" She asked. "Really?"
"I asked for my phone back!" I say to her.
"So you froze my feet to the ground!?" She asked.
"So, when you didn't give it back, I took desperate measures!" Ihisseds at her.
"Using your powers is cheating!" She fought back.
"How is it cheating when we were born with the powers?" I ask, holding my phone in the air. I say it's fair game!"
Out of nowhere, my phone was lifted out of my hand. "And I say, your phone is mine!" Looking over, I see my twin brother standing in the living room entrance, holding up two fingers as he carefully levitated my phone. Grabbing my phone, he looked up at me, giving me a smirk. "What are you hiding, Els? " he asked me.
"Come on, that's not even fair!" I complained to him, turning around. "HIccup, you know you can't use your Telekinesis against us!"
"Yeah," Anna agreed. "Dad says it's unfair!"
"Uh huh, sure!"he replied mockingly. I knew he wasn't listening to me anymore as he waved his fingers around to throw me off, but I knew what he was doing. "Unfreeze your sister!" he added.
"You know I can't!" I yell at him. "Fire is your thing!"
He looked up from my phone, holding up two fingers again, levitating my phone in the air before unfreezing our little sister. "There!" He said. "Done,"
"Thank you!" Anna replied.
"Anna, get my phone!" I say to her.
Anna looked at me, confused. "But you just froze me for taking it!" She said.
"Yes, but now Hiccup has it, and that's not good!" I say.
"Good luck getting it back," He told us, holding my phone again.
He wasn't paying attention. Anna took that advantage to SuperSpeed over to him, but he caught her, lifting her into the air with his Telekinesis with one hand, then lifting me into the air as well at the same time. He only smirked before handing me my phone. "Here!" He said to me.
"Hiccup, put us down!" Anna whined.
He only looked at us, then back down as if he were thinking. "Mm, nah! You two look perfect up there!" He added.
"Hiccup, put your sisters down!" I hear our mother say as our parents walk down the stairs.
"Fine!" he said, turning to us. "Anna, you're really annoying! Elsa, your makeup makes you look like a clown!
"Not like that!" Our father stated.
"Ugh, fine!" Hiccup turned around, lowered his hand and walked away. Anna and I hit the ground with a loud thud as he did that.
"Ow!" we both shouted.
Hiccup paid no attention to us, allowing me to get up and throw a blast of ice at him. However, he turned around and deflected my ice with fire. "Hiccup, stop!" I raise my voice at him as our blasts hit each other.
"As you Wish!" He smirked, flicking his left hand, causing a Telekinesis Wave to throw me into the couch.
"Hey!" I yell.
"Enough!" Dad suddenly raised his voice, making all of us look over. Hiccup and I blinked at each other, dispelling our elements. "Enough!"
"Why can't you kids behave?" Mom asked madly. "Hiccup, Elsa! You two know better! I'm sick of you two using your powers to resolve your arguments!" She yelled.
"It's not our fault!" I defend my twin and me.
"She's got a point!" Hiccup took my side. "We're just using the powers we were born with! The powers you gave us!"
"So, this is your fault!" Anna, Hiccup and I say at the same time.
Mom rolled her eyes, grabbing her coat. "Alright, well. We're going out for a few hours! Hiccup, I'm leaving you in charge," She told him, tapping his shoulder.
"A horrible decision!" He admitted.
"You kids know the rules!" Dad turned around, pointing at us. "Anna, no SuperSpeeding to steal the Twins things. Elsa, no freezing your siblings and Hiccup! No taunting the girls with your Telekinesis!" He pointed at him, finally.
"Okay," all three of us said.
"Have a good night, kids. Be good!" Mom said to us before leaving the house.
"Finally!" Hiccup and I turned to each other.
"Now, out of my way, Els!" Hiccup proclaimed, swiping his hand in my way and forcing me to sit on the couch.
"Don't make me freeze your hand, Haddock!" I raise my hand in the air.
"Don't you guys ever listen to Mom and Dad?" Anna asked.
"Of course we do!" Hiccup stated, sitting on the couch. "Only sometimes. Now move! You're blocking the TV!"
"You two have the most powers in the entire family, and you're worried about what is on the TV?" Anna asked him.
"Yes!" I say to her. "Go upstairs and play. I'll help you with your hair in a moment,"
She just rolled her eyes, stomping away. "Fine."
As Anna said, Hiccup and I have the most Powers in the family. Even more than Mom and Dad. Even though Hiccup and I are twins, our powers are incredibly different. Hiccup is 2 minutes older than me, so he only has one more power than me, but it's a power he never uses.
I can control element manipulation, which allows me to control the wind and weather,and cryokinesis, which allows me to freeze things and form snow and ice with any body part. I find the confusing ice powers to be my main power. They are the powers I use the most. Being a few minutes older, my twin brother gave him the power of Telekinesis, which is the ability to move or levitate things without making physical contact. Telekinesis is the power he uses the most. It's his main power, but he also has Pyrokinesis, which is the ability to generate and manipulate fire, and Electrokinesis, which is the ability to generate and manipulate electricity.
The only two powers that Hiccup and I have the same is Force-Field Projection. My Force Fields can be formed with my elements and ice, while Hiccup's can be formed by fire or with his Telekinesis blasts. The other power we all have is Hyper Motility, which gives us speedy reflexes. However, Hiccup and I never use that power. Anna uses it more than we do.
Even though I was born into a powerful family and the twin sister of a try-hard with advanced superpowers, I enjoy my normal lifestyle now. I wouldn't change anything.
