Chapter 4: Sisters are for Life

With Mom's Blessing, I invited Rapunzel over for the night. Hopefully, things go well. At this current time, we were all in the living room. Anna was finishing up her homework, while Mom and Dad worked on Dinner. Hiccup was at the kitchen table reading a book, and I sat beside him doodling. 

I'm a little nervous about tonight. I really hope everyone keeps their word and doesn't use powers. I know my siblings will, but still... Anna is still young. Sometimes uses her powers without realizing it and Hiccup... Agitate him, and you become fried chicken -- literally.

It's going to be fine. Anna will behave and Hiccup will stay in the basement! I hope! My concentration was broken when our doorbell rang. Mom looked up as I stood up. "I'll get it!" I say, walking over to the door.

"You kids remember what we talked about?" Mom asked helping my twin up from his seat. 

"Yeah, yeah! No powers! Got it!" I state, waving my hand around. Without realizing it, snow flurries swarmed around my hand as I did that. Mom and Dad glared at me. Grasping my hand, I look at them, smiling sheepishly. "Accident!" I say, before opening the door.

"What was an accident?" Rapunzel asked me, cocking her head to the side. 

"Uh, nothing! It's fine!" I say to her stepping aside to let her in. "Mom, Dad! This is Rapunzel," I say to them closing the door behind her. Mom flashed a smile and Dad did the same. "You already Hiccup!" I add, gesturing to my twin who attempted to make his leave downstairs, but I stopped him.

"Pleasure as always!" Hiccup replied to my introduction forcing a smile for Rapunzel but immediately flashed me an annoyed look because I stopped him. Rapunzel only smiled at him.

"I'm Anna!" My little sister stood up holding her hand out to Rapunzel.

"Ah yes! Then there's my little nuisance -- I mean, sister, Anna!" I add.

"Hey!" She yelled at me, hitting me in the side.

"Ow!" I hiss at her, turning around madly.

"Why don't you girls go upstairs until dinners ready!" Mom stopped us, gesturing us upstairs.

"Yeah, sure!" I say grabbing Rapunzel's hand. "Let's go to my room!" I say to her, pulling her upstairs. As I push Rapunzel up the stairs, from the corner of my eye, I see Hiccup smirk at Anna and she zaps him in the arm with her heat vision, causing him to hit her with his Electrokinesis making her yelp loudly.

"What was that?" Rapunzel asked me unsure.

"What was what?" I ask. 

"That noise?"

"Oh, nothing! It's just Hiccup and Anna are just messing around!" I say to her. More than should be! Those idiots! I knew they wouldn't behave!

"Hm, alright!" She said to me but then turned around to look at me. "Hey, I thought you had to babysit Anna?" Punz asked me curiously as we walked down the hall.

"Why would I have to do that? I ask her confused. "Mom and Dad are here, so is Hayden!"

She looked at me, her big green eyes confused. "Yeah, but you said Hiccup had an appointment tonight, and you had to watch Anna because your parents wouldn't be here!" She said to me.

I froze as she explained this to me. How could I forget the lie I made up earlier today?! The one Hiccup even called me out for! How could I be so stupid!? Wow, Elsa! "Oh!" I whip around looking at her with a smile. "Hiccup wasn't feeling well, Mom and Dad rescheduled the appointment so he could rest!" I add.
