Soon, days passed, turning into weeks. By this time, Charlie and Andrew had certainly adjusted to their partnership in chemistry, and their friendship has gotten better. When they see each other in the halls, occasionally flashing a smile and waving at each other. Because of this, they'd get strange looks from other students, but no one said anything. But, it was strange. The Charlie Dillon was talking to physics geek, Andrew whatever his last name was.

Neither of them cared, though. Each day, they'd get together in chemistry, both managing to do well when they worked together. Ms. Allen stopped bothering them all, and her grouchy mood was fading. That didn't mean she was becoming a softie, though. Ha, the idea of that' was just hilarious.

"Doc," Charlie said as she idly bit on her pencil eraser. "Is it against the school rules to put post its all over someone's car?"

Almost immediately, he turned to look at her, his brown eyes flashing with concern as he looked at her through his glasses. "What did you do?"

"Isn't it obvious?" She chirped back, her look of boredom soon turning into an expression of mischief.

"Oh god," he murmured, running a hand through his disheveled, dark hair. It didn't really do much, he already ran his hand through it at least five times this class period.

With a good natured smile, she nudged him before leaning back in her seat, glancing at the clock with anticipation. "I can't wait to see her face, to be honest."

"Who's the victim this time?" He flipped through his notes, skimming them quickly to review the facts in his head.

"Tori," she replied with a smug smile and a laugh.

Andrew paused for a moment, thinking and trying to remember this Tori girl. Tori.... Oh yes, she was in Charlie's group of friends! Dark brown hair, significantly taller than the shorter tomboy. "Oh, her? She's your friend, correct?"

"Yep. She's an egghead, like you!"

"Oi, I'm not an egghead, shorty." He smirked, trying to hold back laughter as he saw her reaction. Charlie did not react well to someone pointing out her height.

"I'm not that short! 5'2 is a normal height," she retorted, pouting like an upset child. "You're just too tall."

"Nice excuse," he quipped back teasingly, turning the page in his notebook.

"Yeah, yeah. Quit talkin' about it before I punch you or something."

"You wouldn't dare."

"Try me."

Andrew rolled his eyes, an amused look upon his features. He knew she didn't mean it. But he had to admit, it was fun teasing her like that. He'd shook his head, concentrating on his studying once more. A few minutes later, he was interrupted by the school bell, and Charlie grabbing her books and grabbing his sleeve.

"Come on, slow poke! I wanna see her face when she sees her car!"

Next thing he knew, he was being dragged out of the classroom rather quickly. It was a surprise that he didn't end up dropping his books. Well, you get used to it, when your Charlie's friend. You'd end up being able to catch up with her eventually.

( Sorry this wasn't as good as the other chapters. I hope the next chapter turns out better. ^^; )
