The library was so peaceful and quiet. There was hardly any people, and he could do anything he wants.
Well, not anything, since there were rules, but he had more freedom. He looked about, and not a person was in sight. Good.
Andrew bit into another french fry, his eyes now focused on the lamps. 'Those lamps are new' he thought to himself. 'Yes, brand new. New lightbulbs too, I reckon.'
"Hey Doc!"
Startled, he jumped, dropping the french fry he was eating. "Oi, don't sneak up on me like that!"
"Sorry, I just- Are you wearing a bowtie?"
"Yes, what about it?"
Charlie looked at him with slight confusion. Andrew always wore regular ties. Not bowties. Wow, he really was affected by her avoiding him. "Why are you wearing a bowtie?"
"Because bowties are cool," he stated as he brought a hand up to adjust it. The corners of his lips twitched. She was talking to him again!
"Since when?"
"Since always," Andrew replied leaning against the table with a smile. "And since when do you wear glasses?"
She narrowed her eyes, her face flushed as she looked away. "I- Well... I ran out of contacts."
"You wear contacts?"
"You didn't know that?" Embarrased, she pushed her glasses up her nose. "I bet you think I look like a nerd."
Well.... he'd be lying if he denied that. The glasses she was wearing were nerd glasses after all. "I can't really say that you don't. But, it's alright. You look like a nerd. A pretty one, though."
Great job, Andrew. There you go, scaring her off again.
"Awesome's a better word, but thanks," she mumbled, her face red as a tomato. "If you want pretty, then you should see Rarity. She's pretty."
"So are you! Even though you're extremely short, and you're a little bit of an ego-maniac, you're still pretty. With your brown hair, and your blue eyes, and--- I should shut up."
He glanced at her, noticing that she was looking at the ground and extremely embarrassed. "Thanks, I guess. And I am not an ego-maniac, Doctor. I like to call it extreme confidence."
"That's just a nicer way of saying 'ego-maniac'," he retorted with a smirk, relishing her reactions.
She looked up at him, a pout on her features. "Oh, shut it."
"Not a chance."
Charlie was silent before bursting into a fit of laughter. Oh, how she missed him. Soon, she found Andrew laughing along with her, and it felt right again. No more avoiding anyone, especially him. "I missed you."
"Really? Well, I missed you too, Dashie."
"And since when did you start calling me Dashie?"
"Since now."
