Aria grabbed her food for the day: a banana, and walked over to the table in the far corner of the cafeteria. She slumped into the seat and peeled opened the yellow skinned banana, eating the soft white inside (a/n: thinking of this waaaay to wrong!).

She closed her eyes and slowly chewed it. Aria took her time eating, she liked to savour it.

When Aria was done eating she stood up and shuffled out of the room, she looked at the kids rooms and went in.

When she got in she was in the familiar room, aria visited daily, she waved at the little kids in the room who let out choruses of 'hi Aria's', she walked over to the old wooden toy chest and opened it up.

Revealing dolls, doll clothes and other accessories for dolls. She got a little dress and walked over to a little bed, she picked up a doll with her eye missing.

The doll had curly blonde hair by it was dirty and knotted.

"Hi Katy." She smiled

"Hi Aria." The doll spoke "how are you today?"

"Good!" Aria nodded taking off the dolls current dress "they keep making me take that medication! They think I'm insane."

The dolls eye darkened "you are not insane. What did I tell you about taking the medication!" He doll, Katy, snapped.

"I'm sorry Katy, she was there! She made me!" Aria pleaded, but Katy doesn't like when she isn't pleased.

Infact, Katy can get rather rough when she doesn't get what she wants.

"Hug me Aria." Katy said

"Are you sad?" Aria asked

"ARIA HUG NOW YOU ROTTEN BITCH!!!" The doll screeched at Aria, who hugged the doll to her chest.

A sharp pain came to the skin under her collar bone, were Katy's eye is broken had stabbed into her skin, drawing blood.

Aria pulled the doll back and watched as the thick blood dripped down her and onto her white dress.

"Katy!" She frowned "that hurt." Aria says, tears in her eyes

"I'm sorry Aria, but you know what happens when I'm displeased." The doll said and Aria nodded looking gloomy, "now put my dress on."

Aria put her dolls dress on and Katy looked perfect. To Aria that is.

"There you go Katy, all perfect!" She smiled "do you like it!"

"Yes Aria, well done."

Katy was Aria's friend, she was always there. Aria got her at a flea market when she was two, as soon as they got home Katy began talking to her.

-flash back-

Katy and Aria were in Aria's room, Katy was explaining how only she was Aria's friend, and that nobody else likes Aria. Aria got upset that her friends never liked her, Katy was the one to comfort her, like a good friend would.

"ARIA SUPPER!!!" Aria's mom called

"I need to at Katy, I'll be back though." Aria apologized "I'm sorry."

"Say hi to mommy for me."

"I will." Aria nodded and headed downstairs to eat.

Halfway through supper Aria spoke up "Katy says hi." She said eating her mashed potatoes

"Who's Katy?" Her mother asked concerned

"My doll!" Aria exclaimed, her parents were taken aback.

Aria doesn't make new friends easily, but she never had imaginary friends and she NEVER lies.

-end flashback-

That was a few days before she was shipped off here,

"Katy?"

"Yes Aria?" The doll asked turning her head choppily to face the pale girl.

"Thank you." Aria smiled "for always being my friend. And for taking care of my fake friends while I was eating supper!"

"You're welcome Aria." Katy said, though her face never moved, you could make out her voice well.

You could see her emotion in her soulless, blue eyes. Katy was a terrifying doll. Many of the kids here didn't like her because she's so scary.

"Katy, I have to go to therapy now" Aria sighed, she hated therapy

"Remember the rules?"

"Tell them the truth or else we won't get out."

That isn't true, telling the truth during therapy has only gotten them in here for longer.

But don't you see? That's the plan!

Aria sat in her seat, the seat made of plastic was hard. It wobbled when she repositioned herself.

Doctor Kiddling came in "hello children," he always addressed them that way "we have somebody joining our house." He called he asylum their house "come on in."

Aria turned around in the seat to see a lilac hair coloured boy, his lips were tinted red, his skin the same shade of porcelain as Aria's. Doll like.

"Children, this is Michael. Make him feel welcomed." Doctor Kiddling said.

Aria noticed the boy had dark bags under his eyes, as though he hadn't slept in forever!

"Michael you can sit beside Aria." The doctor said, Aria's head snapped at him.

The boy, who was very tall, took a seat beside her.

"I'm Michael, but you already knew that." He smirked and nodded at her.

Aria felt her face heat up

"Kiddling? Can you turn the heat down its rather hot in here." She asked the therapist, she had never blushed.

The feeling was new.

"Babe, it's not hot in here. It's just you." Michael winked.
