12. Childhood friend

The last thing you remembered was that you were dragged away. Some familiar face. He said he was your friend? Yeah right. Like someone who consider himself a friend can even come up with something bizarre like this. You woke up at some unfamiliar place. It looked like some kind of base. It was dark. Your hands were tied with rope. It really hurt you. Why was this happening to you. You were looking around the room only to spot a stranger sitting in a chair on the opposite side from your location. You manage to say something to him.

''What do you want from me?''

The stranger only stood up a came closer only for me to get a better look of him. It was him. My so call ''friend''.

''You are awake. You fainted.'' He said nonsalantly.

''Yeah right! Like you care! Because of you I'm here! Let me go you sick bastard!'' You gritted through teeth.

He had a smirk on his face. But that kind of smirk you never want to see. Like some kind of psycho. It sent shivers down your spine. You were praying for Hawks to find you.

''Please... what do you need me for? Are you gonna kill me? Torture me? What?!'' You were desperate.

''I won't do any of those things. Don't worry. Besides, you are not in the place where you are supposed to be exactly.'' He said turning his gaze away. You looked at him confused.

''What the hell! What's that suppose to mean?!'' You shouted, while you were trying to take off the rope that was hurting your wrists. He came to you and he squat next to you. You froze in the spot. Not knowing what will he do next, you turned your head away. Tears pouring down your face. In that moment you felt him taking off the rope and releasing your wrists. You took your hands and put them on your chest. You were so afraid.

''Are you feeling better?'' He asked you with a calm tone.

You took your knees and put them closer to your chest. ''Yes I am.'' You nodded.

''I'm glad.'' He said with a small smile.

''Why did you release me?'' You asked curiously. It still doesn't explain why did he release you, but kidnapped you in the first place.

''I don't want your arms to hurt. Besides, I always took care of you. You were always so vulnerable.'' He said while walking away to put the ropes on the table near the chair he was sitting at before a moment ago.

Sudden pain in your chest made you realized something. Something you left behind, a very long time ago.

''Toya?'' You said in a whisper. Your eyes wide open. He stopped in tracks while remaining silent.

''Don't.Ever.Say.That.Name.'' He said through gritted teeth.

''I... I...'' You were trying to form some words but you couldn't.

''Don't say anything... You already said too much...'' With that he left the room while shutting the door behind him. Also locking it.

Overwhelmed with shock you couldn't say anything. You just sat there like that, completely frozen. After few minutes of just sitting like that, you saw that some kind of mattress and bed were beside you. You assumed that it was for you. You got up and snuggle on to it. You couldn't find a blanket or something similar so you just curl into a ball. You were shaking when luckily, somehow you managed to fall asleep. Hoping that you will wake up from it realizing it was all just a very bad dream.

His POV

I went outside to get some fresh air. My thoughts were all messed up. I hate that name. And I never want to hear it again. Anger was trying to consume me. But I couldn't...I couldn't be angry at her. She was always so vulnerable. I always had a need to protect her. But then I left...
