After I finish my honework, I lay down on my bed next to Brad, who wraps his arms around me and draws patterns on my arm with his long fingers. I check my phone and see a message from my brother's girlfriend.

Sasha: Hey. Do you want to come with me to my appointment? You could see the baby for the first time:) Tim isn't able to come and everyone is working right now.

Me: Hey, of course I'll go:)

Sasha: Thank you! I'm going to pick you up in 30 mins.

"I'll leave in a half hour," I turn my head to Brad. The frown that appears on his face as soon as the words leave my mouth make me want to cancel my plans with Sasha and stay in all day with him.

"Where are you going?" he asks.

"My brother's girlfriend asked me to go with her to the doctor. I want to see the baby," I smile.

"Okay," he whispers, hovering over me.

"What are you doing?" I furrow my eyebrows, looking into his eyes.

"We have thirty minutes to do whatever we want, and this is what I want," he seductively says, kissing my neck. "And I know you want it too," he ads.

-

"That's the baby?" I ask in disbelief, looking at the monitor.

"Yes," Sasha answers with a huge grin on her face.

"Wow. This is unbelievable," I almost whisper, watching the small creature in her tummy.

"Is it a she or he?" I turn to the doctor.

"I can't tell you that in front of her," the older woman sends a smile to Sasha.

"Why not?" I furrow my eyebrows, turning to the brown haired girl.

"Because we want you to throw us a gender reveal party. The doctor will tell you the gender soon. Are you in?" she looks at me, hope filling her eyes. How could I say no?

"Of course," I nod my head.

It's crazy to think and see that a little human is forming in Sasha's tummy and my brother created it. I feel so bad for calling the baby 'it', but I don't know what else to say until I know the gender.

After we're done at the doctor, Sasha drives us towards a small café. I never spent a proper day with her alone, without Tim. Before he got a job, he was always where Sasha went, and that was kind of annoying. We order lattes and some cupcakes and chat until our orders come.

"So, how are things with that boy?" she asks, a genuin smile on her face.

"Things are amazing with him," I answer truthfully. "I... uh... can I tell you something?" I ask, unsure if I should tell her that I lost my virginity or not.

"Of course. You know you can tell me anything," she grabs my hand across the table and gives it a reassuring squeez.

"I kind of... lost it," I bite down my lower lip, hoping she gets what I meant.

"You lost your virginity?" she whispers, so no one can hear her, besides me. I nod, still chewing on my lower lip. A bright smile appears on her face, with no judgement. "How was it?"

"Kind of painful at first," I admit.

"It's always like that. And did you... do it more after that?" she curiously asks.

"Yes," I admit with a small nod.

I'm so glad that Sasha isn't judging me. She promised me not to tell this to anyone, my brother and mother included. Seriously, sometimes I feel like Sasha is my older sister. I can tell her anything and she won't judge me. Hell, she always understands me and tries to help with my problems. She's a true friend that I never had, until she came into my life.
