Baby's thoughts were running in circles. Elizabeth's mother, a gentle woman but somehow in dismay and hurting herself. Much like Baby had in the past and some in the present. All the times Baby had thought of hurting herself beyond fixing or simply ending her lifespan. It seemed Baby wasn't that different from the live counterparts above her after all.
"How do you know this, Elizabeth?" She asked, looking to her for answers that, hopefully, she had.
"Well, before Dad left to go on his little crazy robot trip, Mom had to hide the knives and any sharp objects. I thought it was because we had a baby in the house." She looked away and reminisced.
"Come to find out it was to stop herself. She had scarring on her arms. She always told us that it was surgery. But whenever I did catch some glimpses, she had more than last time I saw. She was suicidal for a while." She had a hopeful smile suddenly.
"But, Dad helped her. She stopped feeling like that and the wounds that weren't scared finally healed."
Baby had that feeling. William was not a kind man. There was no way this could be true. Right? Was she just crazy all along, is that it? She was just a robot that was crazy and imagined the pain of how he hurt her so many times. She was doubting herself now.
Elizabeth could see this to be the case, she could see the pain growing in her eyes. She placed a hand on Baby's shoulder, her hand wrapping around the plastic coated metal that covered her wires inside, the wires that acted like muscles, veins, and nerves.
Baby looked her in the eyes.
"But that was before we found out what he did. She didn't show up to work. She stopped picking me and Jeremy up from school. She wasn't in the house anymore. Dad even removes any photos that included her to make it look like she never existed." Elizabeth had a strong glare as she spoke those words. Never existed. Something Baby felt for a long time, even with the other animatronics down with her in this purgatory. She felt as if she never existed, like she was meant to be alone.
"Do you remember Ballora?" Elizabeth asked.
Baby nodded, her pigtails swaying gently as she responded.
"Well, you know Dad had his way of experimenting. He tried to reincarnate her inside that robot. But, It didn't succeed. She died and he buried her in the woods."
Baby's fists began to tighten and ball up.
"Why are you still with him?! He's a murderer! You could be next! He can find me! He- HE-"
Elizabeth pressed her finger to Baby's lips.
"Liz I know. Right now he doesn't think I know about what happened or what he's done. As long as he sees that I think he's innocent I stay alive. He won't kill me if he doesn't have a reason to kill me off. Trust me. When this school year is over, I'm gone. And I'm taking you with me. No one deserves to be stuck down here, I mean you barely have anything to eat, Lizzie." She said.
Baby took a second to breathe, restraining the voice in her mind telling her to scream, yelling at her to keep herself safe. Every thought of William set this reaction off.
"How do you know that's what will happened?" She asked, rather calmly at that.
Elizabeth looked around cautiously, like she was a paranoid conspiracy theorist.
"Because that's how he works. I've seen it. Everything he does. When no one sees, nothing happens. But when someone does, everything goes wrong."
"When I was younger, I got in trouble for stealing sweets before dinner, Jeremy saw as he punished me. So he punished him too." Elizabeth explained.
Baby looked down, hopefully he didn't hurt those kids too bad.
"So." Baby started.
"Do you have a plan to sneak me out. There may not be active cameras down here but there are above ground. You'll be arrested on the spot." Baby said, concerned.
"Simple." She pulled out her phone, going to her pictures.
"One of these." She showed her a picture, an old, dusty, dark colored disk. A small bump for a light indented in the upper corner of it.
"If I can get my hands on a working one and figure out how to rewire it, we can make you look human. We can easily say you work here. There's name tags and some employee outfits somewhere in the storage area. Just need to get a hold of one." She turned her phone off and put it away.
"Dad has a few around the house. Mainly used as paper weights." She giggled.
"How do you plan on getting it and the uniform?" Baby questioned.
"The outfits are your job, I got the disks." Elizabeth confirmed with a smirk.
Baby sighed, "if you're so sure. When do we do this."
"I'll give you a heads up" Elizabeth blurted.
She then gestured to her texts as she raised her phone and wiggled it in her palm. Baby acknowledged this by nodding to her. Elizabeth checked the time.
"Gotta go Liz-bear" She hopped up.
"See you around!" She waved to Baby, who waved back hesitantly as she ran off.
"Bye." She mumbled under her breath faintly.
Like before, she was alone in the dark.
