Baby's fingers ran over the soft, short, blue fur of her Beanie Baby dog. She held it close, thinking about that little boy. How he was excited about her. Was it simply his child wonder that made him smile so widely towards her. But then again, being so young he couldn't possibly understand what she truly was and why her mother disapproved so heavily. She pet the tiny dog in her arms. She wished it was alive somewhat, but she knew something bad would happen if it was.

Thoughts raised many questions in her mind. She looked at the dog and its tag. There seemed to be a date of birth and all among the tag. She looked and there was a large black marking across where a supposed name would be. Her eyes blinked, this poor thing was now nameless.

She sat up and looked into its seemingly blind eyes. She thought for a second and pet its sky fur. Baby perked up as she looked at her dresser, she ran over with the little plush dog and sat it on top of the dresser gently. She pulled out a marker and a card, she wrote down something on the card, she pulled out a drawer in her vanity and grabbed a pair of scissors.

She looked and froze for a second, she sighed and ignored the thoughts. She wasn't going to let those bad memories ruin this for her.

She grabbed an old cereal box and cut the top off. She took it to her pottery room and grabbed a set of paints, she sat down and pulled out a brush. She pushed some paint out onto a tray and dipped the tip of the brush, she pressed it on the box and painted it white. She mixed some colors and made a light pink and blue sky inside the box and outside.

The box was then filled with soft cotton, serving as clouds in her eyes and a blanket made from an old dress she never wore anymore. Baby smiled and pulled the string from her hoodie, the hoodie lost its string a while back, so she used a piece of pink and blue gradient ribbon to help her keep a draw string for a bit until she got a new one. Baby took and wrapped it gently around the puppy's neck, tying it into a nice bow.

She put the card against the box and taped it there. She smiled and took it back to her room once finished and dried. She sat it on her vanity and grabbed her plush. Gently it was sat in the box.

"Welcome home, little one."

The card on the box read in delicately written cursive, along with flowers and clouds to accompany it.

"Relyna Cloud"

Baby smiled and gently pet the puppy, pretending it was happy to receive her affection despite not being alive regardless. She went and grabbed an old pair of shoes that didn't fit her and pulled the shoe lace out. She clipped a safety pin to one end and guided it through her hood, relining her drawstring, like threading a needle but less tricky.

She undid the safety pin and fell back. She landed on her bed and grunted as she landed.

Baby hummed herself to sleep slowly. The humming then turned to lyrics.

"Tomorrow. Tomorrow. I love yah tomorrow. You're always a day away." She sung in a mumble.

Her body gave in and rested.
