Baby's eyes shot open, her lids wide and lightly twitching as she awoke in a cold sweat. Did she dare to sit up? She did regardless, her eyes meeting darkness as they always did. Damn this nightmares. They always had to haunt her. She was the victim, but sometimes she felt she was the perpetrator. Yet, sometimes, depending on the situation, she was indeed the opposite of a victim wholeheartedly.

Baby ran a hand over her chest and where her heart was, feeling it beat harshly and at a fast pace against her palm. She looked up at the ceiling, the tears were starting to form as her throat tightened and her breathing was getting rough. The more she thought and tried to relax, the worse it all would get. She new it was all fake, but they still made her think about the past and the things she tried to block out. It was her fault wasn't it?

She mumbled to herself as she rolled over and tried to scoot off the bed. She stood shakily, her body still pumping adrenaline. Baby herself didn't even understand how she was functioning both ways of a robot and a living woman. Despite being able to be seemingly normal, she was a wreck inside her head and body. The severe weight loss, the breakdowns and mental trauma, the fact she thought about hurting herself, the thought of suffering in silence as to not bother anyone with her problems no matter how old they may be. She didn't want to bring up old news. It was going to get better, she would be able to heal sooner or later. But, she was losing hope it seemed. She could feel the hope that kept her rising everyday and kept her from going back to old habits slowly slipping from her clutches, right through her fingers like trying to catch a small leaf in the water. No matter how many times she tried she just wasn't going to catch it in her hands before the water could cast it away and leave her palms empty.

Baby couldn't tell if it was her lack of sleep or her anxiety, but her legs were giving out as she tried to stay on her feet as to make it to her bathroom. Her half lidded and sleep deprived eyes were closing and flickering shut occasionally as to shade from the sudden bright light once she flicked the switch. Once her eyes adjusted, she looked into her own reflection. She sighed and saw her own pale face sneering back at her just as she was at it. Baby stretched and looked over at the old bath, she thought for a second and opened the curtain that obscured the whole picture of it from sight.

Baby blinked and went to pulled her clothes off, seeing as she did have to wash up to keep her wound clean. Her clothes came off, revealing the bandages across her chest that covered up her healing bullet wound. She took some medical scissors and snipped away at it, starting from the bottom edge and going up between her breasts slowly and carefully. Being cautious and trying not to cause more damage than she had going on. She slowly peeled it off, all her sweat causing it to stick to her body. The tight bondage leaving a couple red rings where it had been pressed against her chest. Baby gritted her teeth as she pulled the cotton and gauze off her wound, leaving behind a red and oozing hole. She went and turned the shower on, feeling it to make sure the water was warm before she stepped in. Her feet felt it first and she slowly stepped in.

Once the water hit her wound, she winced. It was agony almost, but it was soon soothing and not as painful. The pain was bearable for her by that point. Baby started with the easiest of the patch, shampoo and conditioning her hair. Scrubbing it into her scalp and getting any dandruff out. She turned to rinse it all out beneath the water. She groaned as she grabbed some different stuff to wash her wound out. She braced herself as she poured it on a rag she had gotten wet already. Her eyes shot open and she bit her tongue as soon as the rag met the wound. A low squeal of pain escaped her lips as she pulled the rag away after scrubbing away at it. The pain was written all over her face. A sigh of relief followed as she began to wash her body with her loofah, avoiding the now sensitive spot on her chest. Rinsing her body off and finishing up, she stepped out of the shower once turning it off. She looked and noticed a disassembled shaving razor behind the toilet, the blades missing. Baby never had to shave, she was constructed as mostly human yes, but despite being a female with some male qualities, she never grew any body hair. She was never designed with it. She only ever used them for the blades, and not for good reason. She had to hide all the blades she had around the house to keep from further harm to herself.

Baby stepped over and grabbed a towel from the rack above the toilet, she pulled it off and dried herself. Being careful of certain areas and patting them gently. She grabbed another round of bandages and gauze, cleaning up any access liquids or oils around the area before covering it up and rewrapping her chest. At least with this she didn't have to worry about wearing a bra for a while.

Her eyes wandered down and caught glimpse of her extra part, she sneered at it and tried to look away. Why did he create her with this if she was just going to be used for her womanly parts?

She shook her head to clear her mind of any intrusive thoughts and began to dress herself. She simply put on her clothes from before, feeling to sluggish to go get some fresh clothes in just a towel and bandages. She sighed sleepily and stumbled over back to her bedroom. Baby face planted into her pillows and blankets, relaxing as much as her tense body would allow. She closed her eyes and prayed in her last moments awake she wouldn't have another nightmare of that bastard. She didn't think she could handle it, not another.

Her eyes slowly became less forcefully shut, her body relaxing enough that her eyes could stay closed on their own. She slowly pulled the covers onto herself and curled up beneath them. Her body twitched, she couldn't sleep yet. She sat up and looked at Relyna. She stood and her knees buckled out from beneath her, already asleep. She groaned and used the bed for support, limping over to the little doggy bed made for her Beanie Baby. She picked the little dog up and carried it back over, falling against the bed again and relaxing fully, the dog in her arms.

"I just know things are gonna get better, now that I have someone to sleep next to me when Elizabeth isn't here." She mumbled sleepily.
