yuta almost jumped when sicheng entered.
"did you wait?" sicheng asked, the japanese shook his head and smiled at sicheng.
the chinese was holding various snacks and drinks that he dropped beside the small lampshade as he walked towards his study table, picking up his laptop.
"let's watch here" sicheng said as he sat on his bed and laid his head on the wall comfortably, pulling his bedsheet upto his waist.
"make yourself comfortable" he added, snapping yuta from his reverie.
yuta walked quietly and crawled beside sicheng, silence enveloping between the two.
"what movie do you want?" sicheng asked the older.
"let's watch your name!" yuta's eyes sparkled as he remembered his favorite movie.
it made sicheng smile, he heard of it before but never actually got to watch it.
it took sicheng 10 minutes on clicking and tapping as he said "there you go"
the laptop was at sicheng's lap and the screen was not that big either, yuta scooted nearer to sicheng to see clearly.
sicheng was so focused on the movie, mostly because he was multitasking; drinking, comprehending, reading chinese subs as he watch scenes.
yuta on the other hand just looks at the screen, mimicking the sentences the characters said on his head.
"hmm?" sicheng hummed as he offered his semi-drank lemon juice, still not breaking eye contact with the screen.
yuta realized it was already consumed, but he accepted it happily.
with the realization sicheng tried to snatch the drink from the japanese's grip.
the hard headed boy on the other hand just grinned and finished it off smiling to the shocked boy beside him.
sicheng rolled his eyes and coughed as he continued to watch.
1 hour has passed and sicheng just got drawned with the movie more.
a call interrupted the commotion, making yuta panic.
"i'll just pick it up, okay? you continue to watch" yuta said as he stood up and sicheng could only nod.
yuta walked outside, answering the call.
"hello?"
"goddamn, yuta! where are you? the kids said you and sicheng skipped classes!"
"taeyong chill"
"how the hell can i chill?! how am i supposed to reason out with the principal?!? and why did you skip classes?!?"
"tell the principal me and sicheng got flu and forgot our bags there, my classmates were bullying sicheng, taeyong! i just can't handle my temper, and it's my fault i forced him to"
"really?! okay then, and thanks for protecting that child he's always attacked by those jerks, but i can't lay a hand on a student, you know that"
"thanks for understanding, and keep our bags for us! thanks!"
"you motherfu-"
yuta just chuckled as he hung his phone up, taeyong was his bestfriend for 3 years. he stayed in japan with him and he was nice.
and those are perks as yuta quotes.
yuta entered sicheng's room again, taken aback by what he saw.
"taki, h-his name is taki. please remember" sicheng mumbled nonstop.
sicheng was sobbing, sobbing real real hard.
yuta realized what was happening and he ran towards him, sitting again beside him.
"shhh it's okay" he kept saying as his left arms was wrapped on sicheng's broad shoulder.
sicheng continued to cry and mumble.
yuta was fighting the urge to cry too, it was his nth time watching it, but the feels was still there.
sicheng snuggled up his head on yuta's neck, still watching the movie.
the japanese wiped the tears from sicheng's face, making the chinese smile a bit and put his right hand on yuta's waist.
it continued to be like that. the two close from each other, sicheng crying, the movie being sadder and yuta's stomach doing flips.
the both shared a calm silence, feeling safe on each other's arms, waiting for the ending of the movie.
after it finished sicheng wiped his tears putting his laptop back on the study table looking at yuta who's still in bed.
"stop looking at me like that" the japanese said as he chuckled nervously.
"you saw me cry" sicheng said making yuta laugh.
"don't worry, i'll keep it to myself" he said as he winked.
sicheng picked up a pillow as he threw it to yuta's direction, making the japanese shock.
the japanese on the other hand extended his arms and held sicheng's wrist, pulling him on the bed.
the chinese laid there as he looked at yuta who laid beside him, they both stared at the ceiling.
"i feel sad for taki and mitsuha" sicheng said making yuta smile.
"why did those things happen in the first place?" sicheng added, reminiscing how the characters suffered.
"did they love each other?" yuta asked turning his gaze on the chinese who looked sad.
"maybe? they both did effort on finding each other" sicheng answered.
"isn't it fascinating?" yuta said making the chinese furrow his eyebrows.
"hmm?" he quietly said.
"they didn't really spent time together, just with each other's bodies. they knew stories about theirselves and saved lives. it was like, they loved each other in the strangest way" yuta chuckled as he spilled his view.
sicheng could only nod as he sat and hugged his legs, putting his chin above his knees.
yuta yawned, "i'm sleepy" he sighed.
"it's 12 at noon, you can sleep here" sicheng smiled.
"really?!" yuta's eyes sparkled with joy, looking up at sicheng who smiled and nod.
"but can you lay with me for a while?" yuta whispered making sicheng look at him.
"hmm?"
"you know what, never mind. i'll go to sleep" yuta said as he felt hotter than usual and turned his back on sicheng.
the japanese closed his eyes mumbling "stupid why did you even say that"
until he felt an arm hugging him.
"i can stay until you sleep" sicheng whispered as he smiled, oblivious that he just made yuta's heart do somersaults.
sicheng never acts like this, probably not towards an annoying guy whom he just met for 2 days and stood up for him once, no.
but it was yuta, strangely sicheng felt safe.
