"Jules... You gave me a family. You gave me everything." - Emma Carstairs
CHAPTER THREE
Finally, a simple day out..
I just woke up from the ray of sunshine streaming past the small window in Hugh's bedroom. Hannah decided to lend me his room because Hugh doesn't mind me in here sleeping and he's okay in sleeping in her sister's room.
I smelt pancakes as I stood up which awoken every sense I had. I took a quick bath and did morning routines as a normal teenager would do if I was one and went to their living room/kitchen. I saw both of them eating pancakes and had one plate prepared for me.
"Morning Freya!" Hugh greeted me and I greeted back and ruffled his dark blonde hair. He was such an active kid in the morning despite the fact that we slept late last night and ate sugary sweet donuts.
Him being the happy energetic kid that he is in the morning contrasted with his sister who looked like she didn't get to sleep at all which is partially true. I smiled and made her my special coffee which always cheered her up.
"Here, Hannah, so you wouldn't look like a zombie." I teased her and she smiled at that. We ate silently until Hannah started to rush around getting ready for work.
" Freya, look out for Hugh while I'm gone." She told me, hugged her brother, hugged me next and left almost slamming the door.
"Is there anything particular about today that she's rushing out like that?" I asked Hugh while we were still standing in front of the door. He held his chin and gave me a thinking face.
"Well, she did say something about some pack wolves inspecting houses and shops owned by rogues and other pack wolves." He said then smiled.
"Woah, I remember that? I usually don't really listen to her much but eh..." He ran towards his room and got some of his toys and laid them out in the living room.
I saw them in the woods in the Northern part of the mountains that are around these areas. There were two other rouges following them around, luckily, it was just around that time that I got away from my dead-end childhood 'destiny' or as the ministers in that place says so.
I was trained to become a fighter, an assassin and a killer. When I came across them, well...

I was breathing heavily, having ran a few miles to get away from that place. That place... I was finally out of there. I was out of their grasp, nobody has to control me anymore.
I was in the woods just looking for a meal, a deer or a rabbit. Its what I always eat for a few days now ever since I ran away. But then, I smelled 4 werewolves just a bit away. I was curious and went to that direction in my wolf form, in the age of 15, I was forced to shift early from all those tortures and starving nights.
I saw two grown wolves corner a little girl and boy, they were both crying, the girl hiding the little boy with her body by hugging him tighter. I looked at the wolves and saw their fangs and claws, this triggered times when I had to fight off three wolves in the ministry to get a cup of water and a piece of bread.
I went into action and jumped on the dark brown wolf on the right. I took him by surprised and bit his ear off, I was already deep in my wolf's animalistic urge to kill so his attempt at clawing at me didn't work and it just ended with me clawing him to death and took out his heart with my fangs.
