Narrator's POV

"Hah...ah." Tony panted as he leaned against a pile of debris. "Peter!" He called.

His suit had been damaged and he had no way to communicate with Peter.

He looked around for his son. The glove had done it's job, but now Peter was missing. Everyone was on the look out for him.

Rhodey landed near Tony slowly approaching him. He caressed his face and smiled. "You okay?" He asked.

"Yeah. I'm..." Tony swallowed. "...fine." He nodded.

Rhodey looked around. "Peter!" He called.

"Tony, we cant find him anywhere." Steve spoke to Tony through his earpiece.

This couldn't be happening. This shouldn't be it. He was not about to lose his son for the second time.

"Keep looking." Tony said, helping himself off the pile of debris. Rhodey helped him out a bit. "He's gotta be out there somewhere." Tony limped.

Suddenly, he felt a hand on his shoulder. He looked behind him, it was Stephen. There was fear in his eyes.

"Tony..." Stephen gasped. "Please don't tell me..."

"Yes." Tony nodded.

"Oh, god." Stephen gasped.

No, no, no, no. He couldn't lose Peter. He couldn't lose his son.

Tears formed in Stephen's eyes. "Friday."

Malfunctions critical

Friday's tone was very low.

"Dammit." Stephen said under his breath. "Peter!" He called out.

"Peter!" Tony called. He coughed afterward.

"Take it easy." Rhodey told Tony.

Falcon flew above them, searching for the kid.

"Uah..." There were groans under a pile of rubble. Coughing soon came from the same pile.

"Peter!"

"Peter!"

"Argh..." Peter slowly picked his head up as he heard his name.

"Peter!"

He heard Tony's voice.

"D-Dad..." He groaned. He picked up his hand and waved it. He tried to get up. "Argh!" He yelped in pain.

His right arm was killing him. It was under the rubble. He managed to pull it out under the debris.

He gasped.

His arm wasn't there.

"D-Dad!" He yelped. "Help! Someone!" He cried. "Please! Help!"

He looked back at his missing arm. His suit was damaged too. He couldn't do this. He was missing an arm. He was loosing too much blood, and he was weak.

He sighed and laid his head back on the ground.

If you're nothing without the suit, then you shouldn't have it.

He remembered what Tony had told him.

He took in a deep breath. "Come on, Peter." He told himself. "You got this...come on." He used his other arm to slowly get up. "Ah!" He hissed in pain.

Soon, he was on his own two feet, ignoring the sharp pain running up his leg. He looked around for the ones calling his name.

"Peter!" Tony called.

"Tony, I've got eyes on Peter." Falcon said through his earpiece as he spotted Peter in the rubble.

Peter looked up at Falcon before he collapsed to the ground.

"The kid's down." Falcon told Tony.

"I see him." Tony told him as he spotted Peter.

"We're on our way." Stephen said. Suddenly he was out of breath. "Hah..." He collapsed on the ground.

"Stephen!" Tony yelped.

"Ngh..." Peter groaned as his eyes slowly opened.

He saw lights rushing above him.

He groaned as he tried to get up from wherever he was laying, but something pushed him back down.

There were muffled voices all around him.

"Wha..." His voice was hoarse.

His vision was blurry. He felt so tired. He let his head fall back down.

He felt a thump at his feet. He looked down at them, only to see two doors opening.

He sighed.

He knew where he was.

He let rested his tired head and sighed again.

He closed his tired eyes.

The voices in his ears soon stopped.
